Sam McGoo:Vortech V2 3"33 pulley,'54 DE stock engine,9.14psi,Uprev@Abbey, 402 HP/336lb/ft @Hubs 25k boosted on a 27k engine. Wizard - your 450rwhp was that not @ the hubs on Abbey's Dyno?
  2. Do you have cats fitted? If your exhaust note is changing it could be your cats are clogged or falling to pieces. As above, any cel light on the dash?
  3. That first pic looks really good....... But after looking at that link lexx posted, it seems that that must be the only angle it looks good from. It's hideous from every other.
  4. Do u think updated ones will hold boot with spoiler? That is what the uprated ones are for, so should be fine. I have got a pair waiting to be fitted but not home for a week or so can't tell you yet how good they are, however I have heard nothing but good things about them.
  5. For gas struts - http://www.sgs-engineering.com/gas-struts/car-boot-tailgate For seats or R35LEE I would think they would be your best bet.
  6. +1 I would think this is you issue. Don't be too scared of removing your sender units, any reasonable DIYer should be capable. It just seems daunting. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/54763-how-to-fix-the-inaccurate-fuel-gauge/
  7. Just give the filament a spray with some electrical contact cleaner and let it dry. Do Not touch it with anything though. (I've heard you can also use carb cleaner)
  8. Welcome to the club. You wont regret going the SC route, it really is how it should have left the factory....or at least an option. Sounds like your gonna do it properly with the supporting mods etc.. Keep us updated on your progress.
  9. I have found http://www.superchargersonline.com to be cheapest for Vortech Parts. They are also very helpful if you email or call them. If your going to Abbey anyway that might be your best option, but you might want to give them a heads up so they can get one in. Not many places in the UK stock any Vortech spares.
  10. RIP Maccaman. Sad news, thoughts are with the family.
  11. Follow the link above and read the fault codes. Let us know the codes you get and we may be able to help.
  12. The thread 'driving in the snow' made for rather worrying reading, if you must know. That's why I was trying to explore the options, sorry if the obsession was too much for you? I won't be able to afford 2 sets of tyres, so I guess that when the time comes, I will invest in the MPSS. As for the winter - I don't really want to think about it, guess I will just have to pray. Being used to FWD all the time and having heard horror stories from BMW and other rwd owners, I'm a bit worried, yes. I know how to drive in snow in FWD, just wondering how much more difficult it will be in a powerful rwd car. You'll be fine. As long as you drive sensibly. I think before you start worrying any more about it, you should first go out and find yourself a nice zed to buy. Once you get behind the wheel it'll all make sense. It is not a high powered car in stock form and its power is very linear and predictable so I would be surprised if it took you by surprise unless you were driving beyond your talent. Once you've got one get on a driving day or find yourself a PRIVATE bit of land/carpark and explore the limits of the car. You'll wonder what all the fuss was about and start to really enjoy it.
  13. Nice looking Zed with quite a rare front bumper (that I like) I will definitely see you about in the area. I recognise the car, the previous owner was a member on here and we did meet up a little while ago. Again, Welcome to the club.
