  1. Welcome to the club. As linked above, have a read of the FAQ buyers guide.
  2. No problem, we are here to help. Please keep the updates coming, your honesty in it is refreshing. A lot of people would keep quiet about their mistakes and mishaps. Its good for people to see what's involved with taking on a project like this.
  3. As keyser says about the pressure adjusting, you need the car running. Looking at your pictures, I'm afraid you need to revisit the aam adapter block to fuel rail fitting. The fitting is the right way round now, but you have an o-ring seal where you shouldn't . Where the 90 fitting ( black) goes to the straight (blue). These are AN fittings and seal internally where the two metal flared ends meet. There shouldn't be a seal of any kind there. Please don't take this the wrong way, because anyone that has a go themself gets my respect (thats how you learn afterall) but I think before you drive the car anywhere you should get someone with a bit more knowledge just to have a little look over your work, especially the fuel system. The last thing you want after all this hard work is for it to go up in flames.
  4. Good luck getting this filter, I don't think they produce it anymore. I tried every dealer under the sun and k&n themselves. Everyone said it was out of stock and didn't know when it would be back in stock. Ended up getting the standard vortech one (8H040-035). Around a $100 shipped. www.knfilters.co.uk/search/product.aspx?Prod=RX-4140 Says it's in stock.
  5. One of mine is quite bad from an episode of Sahara rain. I was half asleep when I got in the car and just wound the window down to clear the water off not realising the door rubber was covered in sand.... The noise made me cringe.
  6. More people should take your lead, think of all the high quality and useful posts you made when you joined.
  7. From my linked post above: K&N RX 4140 fits perfectly (3 1/2inch or 90mm) and works very well.
  8. See my thread in the guides section. DIY CAI. www.350z-uk.com/topic/59915-diy-cold-air-intake-cai/#entry888381
  9. Just seen the rest of the forum, jesus, wacky, bbk and maybe even smd might be in trouble on the post count per day competition.!
  10. Look at any independent review site and you'll see the s3 is the best phone available. Obviously the s4 will be better when it arrives. If your not an apple sheep, you won't regret it.
  11. Oh...and yes I regularly get worse than that, but with a MUCH larger average speed.
  12. You average 12mph for a full tank of petrol? God I'm glad I moved out of town to somewhere you can actually enjoy driving!
  13. This is as above 245 a 275 However, if you don't like any stretch at all and want the front and back to look even I would say 255, 275 would look slightly better.

    Falken 453's

Hi mate i had FK453's fitted on my wheels supplied by CS, there are a vey good tyre, less road noise and better grip than the Bridgestones i had before What Bridgestone did you have? 040 or 050a They are meant to be a step up from the 452 ......but they need to be. I'll be interested in the feedback from users as I'm due a set in the not too distant future. Mpss and 050a top of the list though.
  15. Can't see an oil pan spacer or sump in the picture, so will have to tap into the side of the oil pan. http://www.superchargersonline.com/index.php?main_page=page&id=51 Step 6. On the above link. It says that the kit comes with the tool, but not sure a tuner kit will. Looking at the picture of all his stuff, looks like it might be in the bag with the oil feed nozzle, behind the BPV.
  16. If your getting ignited fuel coming up into the intake it does sound like a sticky or damaged valve. If you take the rocker cover off and turn the engine over by hand you may see if its sticking. Bare in mind you may not be able to get an oil tight seal on the cam cover after you've removed it and i don't believe you can get the seal as its attached to the cover, so it means a new cam cover. But that's the last of your worries ATM.
