  1. Antrim is in Northern Ireland, so UK rules apply. Shaftable hopefully.
  2. I need one of those in my life, why'd you get shut? I found that most of my miles were stuck behind some TW@T on the A1 at 70 mph and the miles were flying on as I'm based about 80 miles away. Naff Pug diesel has sorted that issue and now I'm the TW@T, haha! That's exactly why I got rid found that the amount of t*ssers on the road were ruining what used to be my hobby, I'd get to work stressed out of my mind after dodging about fifty old duffers that were trying to kill me And when I tried to justify having a bike for my days off I just couldn't convince myself, £1000 insurance, running costs....... So bought a nice zed instead. Don't get me wrong though it was a cracking bike but I think in 2 years or so I might go for an Beemer S1000RR, test rode one last year and my god it was good. What were you riding? Did love it on a quiet day though, no car will compare to the acceleration of a bike. Some good deals on the 2nd scoots atm as well. 100mpg+ unsure if I'd feel like a complete plum on one though I'm still on my 2005 R6, but tax and insurance only comes to £190 a year, so it's still quite easy to justify! Like the dukes, but they're a bit small for me. Need a V twin though as I'm very lazy with the gears and the R6 needs to live near the red line to move. Why don't you get a CG250/125 or something, good mileage, but not as gay as a scooter and won't handle like a turd.
  3. This may help. http://liljerk.morpheus.net/350Z/fuel_pump_install/
  4. I'm getting the stage 1 as well. Looked into making my own, importing the reg from the US and loads of other ways, but it's just a massive ball ache!

  6. I did battle royal with mine and they're a pain! http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=157&t=43455
  7. Shed is the way forward and a 106 pug diesel is where it's at. Got mine for £300 taxed + test and 650 miles to 40ltr. I thought the same at first, but I enjoy driving the Z more now and it feels so much more special, tends to stay clean for longer as I don't drive it when it's really crap outside, the miles are staying down and I don't have to worry where I park in Tesco anymore.
  8. Sorely tempted, but supercharging cost are taking there toil.....
  9. This stuff is awesome: Halfrauds do it, bout £10 I think.
  10. It's an air-fix kit assembled by Stevie Wonder, just really close to the camera!
  11. Mine did it and a throttle body clean/ reset sorted it. It was full of black cack!
  12. Got em back and looking good. I know where my rays are going soon....
  13. You'll see when you get the bumper off, but the profile of the beam is the same as how a calculator displays a figure 8. There's another bit of metal in the middle to add stiffness I assume. I only attached to the bottom and used a few washers to spread the load and it's been fine for a few 1000 miles so far.

  16. Big colour screen every time!
  17. Admiral for the win. I've got a multi car thingie where I pay £600 for an 06 Z and a crappy 106 diesel. Not bad considering I'm only 25 and have 5 years NCB. I found the area makes a huge difference.
  18. Me and some mates did Stelvio and back again in 5 days on the bikes and although Stelvio is apparently the best road we found one 100 times better. If you're interested in some good roads in Italy and Switzerland give me a holler. The best road by far is on your map between point H and I. You need to make a small adjustment and go down road number 11 from Innertkichen to Wassen, you won't regret it! Have a look at this, it's a bike vid, but all good none the less! http://www.facebook.com/v/494093145764
  19. Just come back from Sheffield to notice some white van driver drooling over said Z (I washed, polished and waxed it yesterday) in the other lane on a big roundabout, when the lights turned to that, 'shall I carry on or stop orange colour'. I carried on, but the A4 in front of the van didn't. You can imagine what happened... Epic fail!
  20. Thanks people, took it there, had a look at the work they'd already done. Looks good to me but they're back logged until the 8th so had to leave them there til then. Got my rays on as the winter wheels though, so I'm not too fussed. Only £20 a wheel too, can't complain at that! Cookie

As above for the construction of custom fuel rails like this:
  22. I've had a good search on the forum, googled and phoned a few companies, but no one wants to touch my Gun Metal Rota GTR's as there's no paint code available (phoned Rota, but they don't know it) Does anyone know of any good refurb companies near to me that paint, not powder coat alloys? Thanks, Cookie
  23. How slippy are those roads! Found this earlier on, not so much a Z, but I wish I could do that on the bike and in the car! http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/motors/3360194/Awesome-bike-v-car-drift-battle.html
  24. All welded up. Turns out the HKS bracket is made from really nasty metal, so was a pain to weld, but they managed it.
