  1. Come on people, think of the awesome performance gain you'll get by swapping to this OEM strut! (Aka, it's taking up space in the garage.)
  2. I've got one of these surrounds for sale if you want it? Doesn't have the buttons though.
  3. Rock down to Exhausts UK in Sheffield, I had a full custom made cat back exhaust made and fitted for £580. Just tell em how you want it to sound and look and they'll make it happen. 25 year warranty is a win too! http://www.cobrasport.com/exhaust/Nissan/350+Z+/26/0/0#products I had tail pipe number 2 FTW
  4. Yea, I'm working on either a stainless bracket that will connect via the bolt holes, or my favored is to cut a piece of aluminum to shape and have it wielded in place. Not seen a guide to modding this bracket though. Cookie
  5. The bracket weight saving mods have been completed, making this the best HKS S/C kit in existence! Got a few days away now, so not much will happen for a while. just need to find a fuel return and fuel pump to finish this off though now. Look, it fits and everything!
  6. How many years, until its £2/ltr and £1000 road tax? Emigration anyone?
  7. The build continues. I've spend today modding the bracket and just need to clean it up with a file...took about 4 hours of filling and dremal grinding to get it to roughly fit! Pics of now butchered bracket to follow.
  8. Kit no longer for sale due to bastardization of the bracket which now (sort of) fits.
  9. I've got layout 2, i.e the old one, with newer shape engine bits. What a pain!
  10. Yea, this is the Rotrex blower which HKS stopped using and moved to there own blower. Even if I did get a New bracket, I don't think my blower would fit it. Thought about looking into having a bracket made/DIY, although it would look somewhat agricultural like the Vortech ones.
  11. Well, after trying to fit this I soon realized that the main bracket will not fit on my 06 rev up pain in the arse engine, so is now surplus to requirement. I've been through the entire contents guide and ensured every part is there, right down to the last washer, so this is fit and go for a non rev up motor. The only part I don't have is a bracket that holds the A/C pipe, but that can be made very easily. The hunt continues for my SC! Looking for £2100 pick up preferred from the the Chesterfield area.
  12. If the Z man can't help you, which is unlikely, I got mine from here. They do a full oil cooler too. http://www.speedflowshop.co.uk/thermostatic-sandwich-plate-with-various-thread-versions-571-otsp1-1020-p.asp
  13. Veg oil you say.... Started work on the Z today, but had to stop due to the crappy light in these short days. Managed to fit one of those mesh grills from Z man, remove the airbox, crash bar and the Idler pulley which was stuck on good! Tomorrow is spoken for and so is new years day, so it'll have to wait
  14. As above, a return system (rails not required) or one of these and one of these and I'll make the rest my self
  15. Injectors sourced, some fuel return bits found and....... a cheap run around car bought for when I'm replacing the soon to be shagged rods and pistons A non turbo 1.5ltr diesel feels pretty slow, but I could get used to 70mpg!!!
  16. I've got a custom stainless setup from exhausts UK (Cobra Sport) but I do like the sound of the blue flame and nismo ones. You tube them both.
  17. I've heard fishing line works well too, not tried it though.
  18. I've read the speal, but I'm still a little perplexed a to what it's for? http://www.cj-motorsports.com/catrck.htm Looking at fuel return options and can't work out why this is needed, cant the returned fuel just be dumped back in the tank? Cookie
  19. Santa came early and I got it on the 17th! Asked for some injectors and a fuel return too, but got socks instead
  20. Well the bulk of the bits have been found, just some injectors and fuel return to find now. Might fit a Walbro pump though aswell. My FI experiance currently stands me at roughly £2300 for the HKS kit, oil cooler, spark plugs, cusco catch can and AMM oil sump. I don't think that's too bad really!
  21. Does anyone know if this can be re mapped? I've got the one with the HKS S/C kit, but it's currently mapped for a pre 2006 Z. If all fails I have money set aside for an uprev, but want to do that when I find a fuel return and injectors. Cheers, Cookie
