  1. no we thought it was restricted int he lower 3 gears but it is the response that is different in the lower 3 gears , as I say the elastic throttle cable is more stretchy in the lower 3 gears than in the upper 3 gears.
  2. no trouble to supply Uprev cable and a good base to start with. As long as the car has wide bands fitted I can E tune the car via datalogging. Although some people say they cant feel a difference a lot of people are very happy after tuning with Uprev. PM or email mark@abbeymotorsport.co.uk thanks
  3. Colin, good to see you hope the trip back up north was good and give me some feedback on the Uprev tune on your 370Z please. Thanks
  4. Although the injectors test good re capacities the spray pattern isn't good when we ran the car on our dyno and measure AFR on both banks you can see the car go lean on both banks in the below screen shot this corresponds to the datalogs from the car lambda's as well
  5. other issue I have found that we think my be the cause is that the base fuel pressure is set very high. After talking to a friend off ours that tunes a lot of VQ's in the US we feel the stock dampers cant cope with the high pressure , next job is to see if we can wind the fuel pressure down to the pressure we use @ Abbey when using the CJ fuel systems.
  6. Hi, only real way is to read the ECU this will tell you if the ECU has been programmed If you email us the registration number I can look if we have tuned the car. thanks
  7. Stock Zed engine loom and throttle pedal needed together with stock ECU. Extend throttle pedal wires from ECU to pedal few wires and relay needed to make the motor run. We can remove NATS from the ECU so no need to have to bid the stock key and key reader box/loom. Have you brought a motor yet?
  8. Motor vehicle technician required for family owned garage that is well known within the Japanese tuning industry. Must have experience of working in the automotive industry and experienced in all aspects of servicing/repairing motor vehicles. Experience of working with highly tuned Japanese sports cars preferable, but not essential , attitude and a passion for Motorsport/Tuning is more important than qualifications. The ability to TIG weld and fabricate would be helpful. Hours 08.00am – 17.30pm Mon – Fri. 1 Saturday in 4 – 08.30am – 13.00pm 4 weeks paid holiday to include bank holidays. Good salary, dependant on experience email or PM if interested
  9. We see a lot of 350Z's with the Cat shields rusting and falling off. I would say around 50% of the car we see for service we remove the heat shields to cure rattles. any questions ask away

  11. Hi, drop down to us in surrey (junction 6 M25) we can read the ECU and help give you any information to sort the issue causing the CEL. thanks

    HR decats

We have some SH Berks De-cats. £125-00 inc vat + shipping. Any good?
  13. The paper gaskets mentioned above do fail. It will cause lower oil pressure. You won't see any leaks either. Labour intensive job thou to rectify. I have a HR in parts at work, will take some picture of the rear section on the front covers. Thanks
  14. It is only the 370Z Milltek system that you have to fit the whole system and the mating joints are different. Cobra fits like a stock car between Cats/Y pipe and centre exhaust section.
  15. If your reading the CAN BUS the REV UP and DE motors are all the same for the UK supplied cars. Presume your backward engineering the canbus to allow the ECU fitted witht he V* to output the correct Can bus info to make the dash/heater and other items still work correctly.
  16. The 350Z motor has already been designed to have a block heater system set up. The block is made to allow a heating element to be fitted in the passengers side of the block it is fitted on cars sold in very cold area's. I have knocked look into what the parts cost but I can take a picture of the block area when I am back at work on Monday. This means the coolant can be kept at a working temp easily.
  17. Stock diff still fitted.
  18. Is it still throwing the VVT code 112? if this code is up the VVT wont work will go into limp which will be fully retarded the car will feel very gutless @ low RPM/
  19. the tune will be good TBH as the restriction is the CATS on a stock car. If you buy the system from Abbey I will run the car on the dyno free to check the map with the new system. thanks
  20. tbh it will just be a little more noisy It wont give a great gain in power/torque but it will gain a little. We can supply both Cobra and Milltek.
  21. Hi , what About Abbey on 31 miles from Brentwood. flick me a PM and I will sort a quote out for you. thanks
  22. The air filter kit is a JWT Pop charger with a alloy link pipe which in our mind isnt the best but sounds awesome. pleased your happy with the tune. thanks for the feedback
  23. Is the CEL on constant or flashing?
  24. Andrew, please to meet you yesterday and pleased you enjoyed your time @ Abbey Motorsport. As we discussed yesterday it isn't all about the gain in BHP the final number on the dyno; Its all about the way the car drives we re-calibrate the car to the mods you have had fitted and to take in the wear and tear as the car gets older. Will be in contact very soon re Cruise control fitment. thanks
