  1. Those aren't nismo center caps though? What are they? Really ruin the look of the wheel IMO
  2. Lmao! I ordered the 150 piece set as all my garage tools were my dads from back in his racing days so there are imperial stuff mixed with metric and just a bit messy and rusty these days. Can't go wrong for 100 quid and lifetime guarantee
  3. Speak to Mitz as he supplies cobra systems which are a good alternative
  4. The 150 £200 quid set is down to 99. This has the ratchet spanners which are very handy when working under the car
  5. They're not even good for track. I bought a set and sold them after ones session due to being heavy. However they are excellent winter wheels
  6. Two very different exhausts and not well made! Save and get a buddy club system. You won't be disappointed

Yea I was behind you entering Santa Pod a few weeks back. You went up with a load of other Jap cars I noticed. Well I am pretty low and yes my suspension is very firm but it does tend to handle better than OEM suspension around the track. But I am not massively fussed as I don't track it that often. Providing it is still smooth to drive and feels good I will be happy. I certainly wouldn't sacrifice the ride for larger/wider wheels, but I am confident I can get it set up to get the best of both wheels. what you saw the A3? yeh she is my work horse now but was my pride and joy before i got the 350 took me 6 months to work out what wheels i could get on that as know one had done it to an A3 then. I meant Neils 350Z! But you should put pics up of the A3 I wasn't at the pod mate? My cars in pieces just now :-s

Yeah a few cars have those wheels over here now but to have the car that low means literally zero suspension movement, which in turn leaves the handling terrible. I know my cars not to everybody's taste but only really comes out when's there's a major event/run on or when going to the racetrack. If it was my daily then there's no way id have it vinyld up.

Why do people do this? I don't get it? The car will handle like poo and too much of a stretch looks silly. I don't mind a slight stretch and wheels filling the arches but ridiculous camber looks atrocious and does not help the drive/capability of the car on bit

like that alot except the bonnet has a bit too much going on for me
  11. That would be great to see craigs face when its getting is hole kicked out it and landing in the kitty litter
  12. Urs is still in the lower band. Only cars registered in the uk 06 onwards are the high tax band. This exludes imports which have been registered abroad before 2006

    Squeaky brakes

It's the inside pad which wears very quickly on the zed. The standard pads have a tendency to break up also.

^^^ May need some copper grease on the back of the pads. May also need a bed in procedure done again to get the pads worn to the discs shortly. What pads are you running?

Have you checked out how much pad material is left??

I assume you have checked the pad wear?
  17. This is not true. Even if taken payment they can still put to out if stock and refund. They will then relish 24hrs later Happened on eBay ages ago with orders on here
  18. Hey mate! Welcome to the club! Hope to see you at some meets! Where are you located?
  19. 1kg may not be a lot to lift, but put gyroscopic effect into play and its a massive weight. Rotas are far from lightweight. Try Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2, OZ Superleggeras, Desmond Regamasters are among the lightest you can get. This may help: http://www.wheelweights.net/ All the wheels you have listed are only light in small sizes. At 18" etc most are heavier than oem rays and also lmgt4's Not strictly true, the wheels listed above are the same in 18" variety, probably lighter if you could find Regamasters in 18 (very rare). Just giving the op some options of very similar weight 18" wheels if he doesnt like Rays. Unless the op is a trackwhore then he's best just getting a set of wheels he thinks look nice and by a reputable manufacturer. He currently runs oem 18's and not rays so pretty much most wheels will be lighter. Oh and he wants 19's
  20. Remember the car revs need to drop to 850rpm for variable valve timing to become active ask Keyser both of us had a similar problem. He was losing loads of power mid range when tuning and it was down to this. Not sure if its only because we have the haltech ecu or if its the standard ecu that does it
  21. Dirt guards at back of discs have been bent when changing suspension. Bend them back out and you problem will be solved. Bend them out by hand
