  1. That would be great to see craigs face when its getting is hole kicked out it and landing in the kitty litter
  2. Urs is still in the lower band. Only cars registered in the uk 06 onwards are the high tax band. This exludes imports which have been registered abroad before 2006

    Squeaky brakes

It's the inside pad which wears very quickly on the zed. The standard pads have a tendency to break up also.

^^^ May need some copper grease on the back of the pads. May also need a bed in procedure done again to get the pads worn to the discs shortly. What pads are you running?

Have you checked out how much pad material is left??

I assume you have checked the pad wear?
  7. This is not true. Even if taken payment they can still put to out if stock and refund. They will then relish 24hrs later Happened on eBay ages ago with orders on here
  8. Hey mate! Welcome to the club! Hope to see you at some meets! Where are you located?
  9. 1kg may not be a lot to lift, but put gyroscopic effect into play and its a massive weight. Rotas are far from lightweight. Try Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2, OZ Superleggeras, Desmond Regamasters are among the lightest you can get. This may help: http://www.wheelweights.net/ All the wheels you have listed are only light in small sizes. At 18" etc most are heavier than oem rays and also lmgt4's Not strictly true, the wheels listed above are the same in 18" variety, probably lighter if you could find Regamasters in 18 (very rare). Just giving the op some options of very similar weight 18" wheels if he doesnt like Rays. Unless the op is a trackwhore then he's best just getting a set of wheels he thinks look nice and by a reputable manufacturer. He currently runs oem 18's and not rays so pretty much most wheels will be lighter. Oh and he wants 19's
  10. Remember the car revs need to drop to 850rpm for variable valve timing to become active ask Keyser both of us had a similar problem. He was losing loads of power mid range when tuning and it was down to this. Not sure if its only because we have the haltech ecu or if its the standard ecu that does it
  11. Dirt guards at back of discs have been bent when changing suspension. Bend them back out and you problem will be solved. Bend them out by hand

  13. Silenced decats still rasp and rattle mate
  14. The car may feel more understeery if you're on track though.
  15. 235 on front and 275 works fine. Just allows the rear a little more slip before tcs kicks in

    LOUDER!!!

Decatted, debunged buddy club ftw! Sounds awesome!
  17. What would you say the total bill was for the rally and expenses?
  18. There's no question about it, it's a sexy sound! Sounds very lambo like and goes pretty much like one too. Even aftermarket discs are crazy money for the m5. Defo not a car u want to scrimp on brakes for. It's a lot of weight travelling at a lot of speed.
  19. M5 guzzles fuel like you will not believe. Had first hand experience. Only has a tiny tank so you'll be filling up all the time. Two front discs and pads from BMW cost about 2k also. Be under no illusions with the buying costs. They are still a 500hp v10 hypersaloon
  20. It's not even the facelift 2006 either. It's a late registered 2005 car by the looks of it. So no 300ps engine, no new interior, no new style lights, and a hefty tax bill for nothing. For that money you'll get a decent proper facelift car with low mileage
  21. Yeah I totally agree! Tyres are a major factor. The 18" rays with r888's are crazy light. When driving on track the car feels so much more agile and you can defo have more fun
  22. The scratching noise sounds like the disc dirt guard at the rear of it. May be rubbing, dirt may be caught in it also. Check for scratches on the rear face of the disc, that's a sign of something being caught. If not the just bend it out a little. Clutch chatter is normal. As long as its not slipping you'll be fine. Drivetrain in the 350z is not the quietest
  23. Get ebc bluestuff if you're an aggressive braker, ebc yellow stuff are great pads. Red stuff is far too soft for the zed. Great value for money is ebc yellow stuff pads. Change fluid to RBF 660 and fit braided hoses at the same time. With that set up you should be fine. From your photos it looks like you have a stuck piston or two which has causes the uneven wear
  24. Naw it's the brownies yum yum
