I't did look very nice in carbon - just not the subtle look i was after. lol - not the first to say it believe me - had a real difference of opinion on this topic. The problem is that if you want a custom bonnet you can't get fibreglass any more - so it's carbon or painted carbon. It IS a crime to paint carbon, but for the look i wanted i had no choice Agreed. This has been playing on my mind and i'm not happy with the wrapped roof finish. I just needed to see if the whole black roof thing was what i wanted for a while before committing to paint - which i think will be soon

Spent most of the day fitting the bonnet properly. Some of you may remember the post about painting the carbon bonnet or not - well this is the result . I had to cut some of the under side fibreglass support away as it sat on the engine cover, plus I had to file out the brackets that it bolts to - and the front catch. Anyway, it fits dead straight now and doesn't foul on the engine anymore It took some work, but worth it. Just got it all finished before the rain started Got some different plans for the front end next Also, I finished the fit on the ings rear, it was a little out from the body shop and needed some proper rubber strips fitting where it contacts the oem bumper. I also took the back boxes off a while ago and carbon wrapped the lower portion of the ings. I realised i hadn't posted any pics since i did that, so.. Yep, that's the wife cleaning the inside - in the rain. Rose bush = less important

Finally got around to fitting the logo's that Rich cut a while ago. Not many posted up with them so i thought i would. A bit tricky to fit as they are quite small but a good result if you're careful..

+1 Did mine a few weeks back and has no idle issues at all. Check for leaks. Check by the oil filler too, that rubber lip is a prime candidate for getting trapped between the spacer and the plenum. P.S. What spacer, gaskets etc. Also did you use any liquid gasket? P.P.S. Just a thought, but you didn't accidentally move the throttle butterfly did you, a throttle body reset would be the way to go if you did.

Probably not much time left for the petrol fuelled sports car (not helped by BP recently). This is just another sign. Best to enjoy them while we have them!

Ordered a full set of EBC ultimax brake disks (x4) and a set of Ferodo DS2500 Pads (x4) with C.S. yesterday, payment was processed just after 4.30pm. Nothing major Shaun (this weekend), interior work + brakes. However I haven't taken any photo's since the Seibon bonnet was painted and fitted.. I have a wax and photo session planned this weekend if the weather holds What wheels fella!?!? - need to know! Got a hunch that this thread is gunna be good - not many whites about (and i agree tez, best colour bar none, my car was silver when i bought it - although it always was going to be white )

Good find I have both already but i paid much more than that for each of them. I'm sure somebody will grab a a bargain there.

+1 other than aesthetics - what purpose do they have? Do they fit them to race cars but remove the glass first to help with air circ inside the car perhaps?
