  1. Sounds good to me, i'll be watching the thread..
  2. Thanks to everyone for the input. I have almost made my mind up now, decision will be made later today
  3. I'm heading up for Sat eve after a family do, will be there over night and all day Sunday. Be good to see you there if you make it. Oh, also i'm not on the stand with this club, i was already booked in with a local club so will be on their stand, although i'll be over to see everyone throughout my stay
  4. I actually got told off by a teacher because she thought i was a yob out to cause some trouble. I had to explain that i live opposite and only use the car park out of school hours (not hard as i'm at work the rest of the time) for the odd photo for the forum. I did think i was going to be sent to the head master at one point, i felt strangely very small again.
  5. hmm, interesting idea.. poll and first post updated with new option 5
  6. ^ don't i know it thank you Nurrish.. that was exactly my intention, then came cry's of sacrilege at the mention of painting carbon (even from family). Hence my conundrum. Rear tint is already done P.S. poll added as per anubis's suggestion. Thanks guys, appreciate the feedback
  7. Likewise Ian, many thanks. Ok so new option, option 4 added to first post..
  8. Hi all, As most of you know i had my car painted white last yr which i love. So i recently bought a Seibon carbon bonnet (thanks Ian!) which i love also. Now I cant decide which option is best. My options are.. 1. leave the oem bonnet on.. 2. keep the carbon bonnet on.. 3. paint the carbon bonnet white (bad photoshop effort, but you get the idea).. 4. keep the carbon bonnet on, remove the roof wrap.. 5. paint the carbon bonnet white, but leave some carbon detail around the vents.. Please let me know which option you prefer (asking for trouble i know )
  9. Good work Shaun, mine still isn't finished yet! Hopefully will be finishing the rear trim today ready for rising sun next week.
  10. I ran a large memory stick, 16Gb iirc, the head unit took an age to read it each time it turned on. Now i run a selection of 2Gb sticks with a different genre on each, which works much better.

  14. Looks good, nice to hear about good forum member support too
  15. Kenwood for me Only have random pics though..
  16. Thanks Not any more, when the importer fitted the rear plates you could see a gap either side of the plate, I believe this is common as I've seen this on a few.. so, when i had the car painted i had the gaps filled an inch or so either side. Result = no gap after plate fitted.. I also had the front smoothed and the holes filled, the plate is just taped in place over smooth bodywork
  17. might be interested pending a few facts and figures..

  23. Thanks, I think it was good to clarify. I had an MOT fail on a plate similar to that, that's partly why i posted, the car failed ONLY on the small print of the plate - i was happy Glad to hear there's still some carbon on for all your troubles!
