  1. I'm after some winter tyres (new or part-worn) to fit to a spare set of touring alloys, 2 x 245/45/18 & 2 x 225/45/18 Thanks
  2. Look like what I need....PM sent
  3. Interchangable Dean, simply plug and play mate Thanks for the advice Alex. A mate's GT4 fans have started playing up and he's been offered a pair by a breaker of a 2007 car
  4. Should yours have the headlamp washer holes like this one (viewtopic.php?f=32&t=35755&start=0) or did the V1's come in two varieties?
  5. Just wondering of the DE and facelift HR cars have interchangeable fan motors?
  6. I sat in an S2000 as it was on my shopping list along with the 350z but the S2000's interior space is small (I'm 5'11"). It was a GT spec with the hardtop roof and I felt very claustrophobic in there. I didn't even test drive it because I knew I didn't like it from that point. The 350z in comparison has acres of space and can accommodate all drivers IMHO. The EVO's interior won't matter a jot when you feel a 320bhp+ turbo shove (like being hit in the face with a shovel....without the broken nose). The sheer acceleration force of a tuned Evo and it's "like @*!# to a blanket" handling will scare and excite in equal measure. I used to own two highly tuned Subaru Imprezas (a classic and a bugeye) and changed to a 350Z because I thought I'd end up in a field on my roof one day when I pushed it too far. . The thing is, even though my zed is mildly tuned, the adrenalin rush of a big turbo is something I'll return to one day.....guess I'm 42 going on 17 Go and have a look/test drive and see if any of them float your boat.

    Retro Rides 2012

Great selection of cars (Mk1 Astra GTE my personal fav - used to own one back in the day). Picture quality is excellent too
  8. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-350Z-Z ... 500wt_1202
  9. I'd be more concerned about leaving my 370z gearbox change in the hands of a dealership that doesn't sell & therefore doesn't service 370z's. I can only imagine what the test drive will be like to make sure the gearbox is ok. I don't trust many people to work on my car unless they are known good specialists,e.g. Horsham Developments, Abbey etc. I understand you have to use a Nissan dealer but I'd be doing a little bit more research and getting my car sorted at one of the better ones that sells and has experience of 370z's, even of it was miles away IMHO. Good luck to the OP, fingers crossed for a positive experience and outcome.
  10. Already done DB just covering all the bases with a wanted ad
  11. Little scratch in mine had been getting on my nerves so wondering if anyone has an excellent condition spare? Ideally from a 2005 model year (phase 1, manual box) as I think the early cars had different colours. Thanks, Dean.
  12. Given the confusion in previous threads and the bad advice on supplier websites I thought this would be a good thing to do but not many takers out there Thanks to Neilp & TomS for contributing
  13. Same here....park nose up and water collects....park nose down (even slightly) and no water . The car should not do this though
  14. Can anyone clarify the indicator fitment please (and confirm the others?) Thanks
  15. There seems to be no straight answer when it comes to finding the exact replacement bulb fitments for the UK 350Z. The following list of fitments comes from one of the usual internet based bulb sellers but there does seems to be mixed reports (based on forum threads) about the correct fitment list. With this in mind I thought I'd post this up as a starter for 10 and update as responses flood (or should I say trickle) in Front Lights Dipped Beam Non-Facelift = D2R (confirmed) Dipped Beam Facelift= D2S (confirmed) Main Beam = H7 Sidelight = 501 Front Indicator = T20 also known as 7440 and 7443 wedge fit (confirmed) Side Indicator = 501A Rear Lights Stop & Tail = 380 (twin filament) NB: Rear "stop & tail" bulbs on the 2003/04 UK Nissan 350Z are T20 dual filament (also known as 7443 dual filament) and NOT 380 bulbs! Sidelight = 380 Rear Indicator = T20 also known as 7440 and 7443 wedge fit (confirmed) Rear Fog = T20 also known as 7440 and 7443 wedge fit (confirmed) Reverse = T20 also known as 7440 and 7443 wedge fit Number Plate = 501 NOTES According to http://www.ledbulbsauto.com/bulbcompare.html T20 can also be known as a 992, 7440 or 7443 581 can also be known as a 7507 or 382 Thanks to the following contributors; Neilp TomS
  16. I would recommend adding a braided clutch line at the same time, as this will help along with the new fluid. Even though I'm reasonably good with the spanners, I got my clutch fluid (and clutch line) changed at Horsham Developments
  17. Let me know when you are there, I may pop down to see the TT in action Also, watch for excessive front left tyre wear at Llandow, ruined a nearly new Toyo Proxes T1R there in one day (In my Mk2 Honda CRX 16v) a few years ago.
  18. WinkJ's rear wheels are more concave though...why the difference? P1000077 by Winkj, on Flickr
  19. My second visit to see Jez and Carl at Horsham Developments yesterday and would like to thank them both for their sterling work. I eventually got my Horsham supplied HEL brake lines fitted along with a brake fluid swap and suspension alignment. You really cannot go wrong with Horsham Developments, excellent service yet again
  20. Or use Icy Hockey pucks (off ebay) with grooves cut into them instead of wood (which often breaks along the grain).
  21. Hey Doc, can you explain this technique please?
  22. Found this clip http://s415.photobucket.com/albums/pp23 ... t=6007.mp4 From this thread viewtopic.php?f=62&t=24061&start=60 I think that exhaust (same design as mine) is running through the standard cats so add the Berks and up the volume to get ear bleeding noise but I couldn't live with the combo
  23. Can't believe you didn't have a go at fitting these yourself or getting a helping hand from another forum member. Rip off Nissan
  24. I had a 2nd hand DC sports (non resonated) fitted the same time as my Berks HFC's and it was LOUD! Too loud for me and most of the people that witnessed the noise first hand I subsequently got a silencer added to the system and it's bang on now. No drone on the motorway at 70 and a decent howl in the low gears when pressing on. Pics in last post in this thread.. viewtopic.php?f=62&t=57990&hilit=loud&start=15
