  1. Don't forget to plumb in some lines for an air compressor, loads of tools can be used from a compressor these days. Also, stick in an RSJ if you even intend to remove engines and the like

  3. With regard to that exhaust, I think it needs modification to fit (read on other posts on the forum). Search posts from forum member Zugara (I think). It may help people advise you if they know what zed you have, UK/Import, engine 276/313 etc?
  4. Hi Jamie, Good to see another Zed in South Wales. I'm from Neath and moved to the zed from Subaru Impreza ownership (but have a Honda CRX 1.6 16v track car gathering dust in my garage). Welcome on board. Dean
  5. Thanks for the advice and confirmation guys, might get the berks (as Tarmac is doing a good deal @ £375 delivered) and store them until I get the spacer and UpRev
  6. I'm about to fit an aftermarket exhaust to my 55 plate zed. If I also add some berks HFC's at the same time will I run the risk of running lean on the standard map. In due course I'll put a plenum spacer and get an UpRev remap but want to make sure all will be fine should go for the berks now? I'm also running the 06 airbox mod and apexi filter too. Thanks for the advice
  7. Changed my non-return valve (£2.49 from Halfords) after the drivers side jets were just a dribble. After replacing the NRV, both jets have a decent flow. My rear wiper motor is completely silent and looks like it's goosed. i think a PM to Alex is imminent.
  8. I've been away from home all week and just come back to the A-pillars from Mark at Abbey Motorsport. I've never dealt with Abbey before but cannot fault their service at all. The A-pillars are in great condition & were very very well packed indeed. Thanks Mark
  9. rear strut brace cover isnt mint , I have the A pillars trims thou , £20-00 + shipping. Mark Thanks Mark, PM'd you
  10. I'm after some A Pillar trims (left and right) as well as a rear strut brace cover (but only if mint)
  11. There's a few build pics of a sub box fitted in the standard location (by Lee @ Sonic Frontiers) here http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set= ... 557&type=3 Ended up with a Rainbow subwoofer in the end and it's deep, clean and punchy. It really integrates well with the Morel front end, all driven with a Genesis 4 channel amp. The best thing is that it's pretty much factory stealth apart from the custom A pillar builds so very low profile. It may be worth giving Lee a call about your 350z. He's currently working on a Bently continental GT build
  12. Due to my original standard exhaust splitting (in the usual place) I'm going to withdraw my requirement for a set of wheels. It's been welded up by the previous owner so time to get it swapped out for something a little more rust resistant.
  13. PM's sent to MidnightRacer and SunsetZed
  14. Mine went, I got some replacements from ZMANALEX but at £100 still far far cheaper. My Nissan stealer wanted £700 for two fans, parts only. So, did you get a new Nissan genuine part for £100? If so, where from as I'm sure this would be of benefit to the forum.
  15. Anyone got a set of either in their shed taking up space. I'm thinking of getting some winter tyres and the cost of a 2nd set of alloys will make or break the decision really. Let me know what you've got? I'm based in Neath, South Wales but work in Swindon during the week (at the moment anyway) so can collect along the M4 within reasonable distance (and if I can fit them in the zed! Thanks, Dean.

    A Pillar Trims

    Bump - forgot about these
  17. Fantastic guide and your car looks great too Thanks for taking the time to take the pics and post
  18. Got mine middle of last week (been working away so fitted on the weekend). Thanks Tarmac
  19. A Scorpion system seems good value "not a word I'd associate with 350z exhaust systems but there you go ". Horsham Developments are selling for £360 (sure it was cheaper last week) http://www.h-dev.co.uk/product_info.php ... 25359d2376 Mate it up with a stillen y pipe and some berks HFC's and a remap (to release the power from your exhaust purchase) and your sorted. That's what I intend to do when I've saved up the £'s to do it all at once. Give Tarmac on here a shout as I think he sells all of the above bits too
  20. payment made and pm sent - cheers Me too! Doh! I'm in third place........I've paid too
  21. Do the wheels come with centre caps in similar finish?
  22. Did you get the centre caps done at the same time? Do you have any pics of the other side of the wheels? Just wondering if the finish has been applied to the entire surface of the wheel or just the visible front surface?
  23. Same for me, I'd like a 350z coupe cargo net too please
  24. ...er because I don't know what a communicator is or what a com brush is. Not everyone is as clued up on electric motors mate but appreciate you posting this if it helps others rescue their motors without getting stung like me. I've a mate that knows a Nissan tech and to be fair he has suggested that I try and break open the sealed motors and replace the brushes. I'll pop the new motors in to get me mobile and see if my local auto electricians can do anything with my 52k miles old originals. If they are servicable (which seems to be the case) then I'll get them sorted and sell on with a receipt for the work.
  25. Having had an overheating problem while stuck in traffic last Friday, the problem was sourced to the radiator fans not spinning up (well one was but very very slowly). A good way to test that the motors are fubar'd is to run the car up to temp, give each fan motor a swift tap with a hammer and see if they spring into life. This is what happened to both my fans when testing earlier today, so replacements have been ordered from ZMANALEX . My local Nissan dealer wanted £335 each for the fan motors (both motors are the same part by the way).
