The missus got me an Xrocker Gaming Pro 2009 Chair, it's superb. Also been making my way thru Forza 3 and it's even better in the chair with the feedback and the stereo speakers at each side of your head, you can hear the cars at each side of you.... Hadn't a clue what she had got me, just that she said it would do her head in. And true to that prediction I have been told umpteen times to put it off On the downside she bought me microfibre cloths and a bottle of Greased Lightning Showroom Shine....watched the ad on Ideal shopping channel and don't have the heart to tell her that this stuff won't be going anywhere near the Zed.... Waterless washing of the car!!!! I cringe at the very thought of it....

That was what I was worrying about reading thru the thread, but it doesn't make sense. If I install an aftermarket BT handsfree like Parrott system. I don't lose it by replacing the HU, I just need to get the right harness as all the stereo is doing in receiving the signal to mute and play sound from the unit instead of radio etc which is in use. Surely the Nissan BT system is not the actual Bose HU itself?

Think this is going to be my next mod in the new year. One question, if I get the proper harnesses etc will I still be able to use the bluetooth that is currently in the car, ie the Nissan one? It works perfectly fine for me so don't want to change to something else as like to keep the steering wheel buttons etc. Also does this unit has an audio in port so I can plug Nurrish's custom satnav into it. I currently have it connected via the Bose Hack but for some reason the other day when I switch to Tape it says press eject.... So time to get the Bose to %$£*. I take it I don't need to change anything else other than the head unit? Don't need to replace the amp or sub etc? Might just spend a bit extra and get it fitted by a professional as can't really be ersed with the hassle. Don't suppose anyone can recommend a fitter in the Glasgow area?

I was in Airdrie yesterday for a tournament, only noticed it had been snowing all afternoon around 6pm and you couldn't see where the road finished and pavement started. Was really anxious having read everyone complain about the Zed in the snow. Got to leave about 7. When you come out the car park there is a slight hill for about 50 feet before you turn right on the level down to main road, was getting nowhere then I turned ESP off and used the D1 throttle controller and put it into Eco5 mode and by weaving the steering from side to side managed to start moving forward, once I got round bend I was surprised at me not wheel spinning once on the 3 mile journey to the M8. Such relief when I got onto slip road for the motorway only to find it was covered in snow with cars travelling around 15MPH..... When I got to outskirts of Glasgow it was mainly clear though. So good first impressions of the snow and the Zed. It's the other twats who drive about as if it's just normal driving conditions that worry me more. But I don't intend driving in the snow like that again if I can help it.

I used to stay out in the countryside and it was the biggest bain of my life travelling into work when it was freezing as the washers would never work. I always thought why don't they put a thin heating element within the hose and washer head to prevent it freezing? Would only take a couple of degrees of heat to prevent freezing or unfreeze the skooshers when your driving. Has any car manufacturer thought of this already or am I sitting on a goldmine of an idea Now due to underground car parking I don't have these hassles

As far as I was aware you should run ANY 350Z on super unleaded when possible, regardless of whether it's an import or UK version and only be using standard RON unleaded when you can't get super unleaded.

I never suggested it wouldn't be quicker, I said there wouldn't be that much in it. When you compare 5.4s to 60 rather than 5.6 the facts tell me there won't be much in it The 1 series is a pure girls car, and the 350z is one of very few convertibles it's cool for a guy to drive without looking like a hairdresser.

I used to always get my car washed by the Polish car wash guys but never go near the places anymore. I got a full detail done as was fed up with the paintwork all swirls and being black its far more noticeable than other colours. Damn, I have been looking for the AEM CAI. After hearing Irfan's at the last meet this is defo the one for me as I was previously going to get a popcharger but this sounds so much better. Anyone know where I can get one, think on one of the traders they only had the dual version last time I looked...

Only seen mines flash once when it went below a certain distance in the DTE, think it was just below 55 miles. Never been that low before or since...

Simple rule of thumb is don't be putting the boot down when going round a roundabout or tight bend in the wet and all will be well.

Just got new oil and spark plugs from Opie while their sale was on and getting it into my mate next week to sort it for me. I take it I don't need to change the gaps in the plugs do I?
