I only had my Kuro about a week when I noticed one morning on the drivers door right on the crease at the top half of the door a dent the exact size of a golf ball. Was absolutely gutted. Nobody could have hit it with a door as I park side ways in a space in the underground car park on my own. Went into a garage who do paintless dent repair and they said the metal was stretched so would need to be traditionally be repaired with a full paint of the door etc.. I then phoned a mobile guy out who said he would look at it, arrived and said it should be ok. Panic set in when you watch him banging on the door with what looks like a die....but he gave it a quick polish and I cannot see where the dent ever was. I can't recommend it enough. Don't know where you are but if your in the central belt of Scotland this is the guy to contact http://www.sldentrepair.co.uk

The Uk's Speed Limits.......Outdated???
maxi-glasgow replied to BACON's topic in Off Topic Discussion
I think Husky has hit the nail on the head, there needs to be more training for young drivers and ALL drivers on what to do when you lose control. What do they do in countries like Germany etc where they have roads with no speed limits. What are the accidents levels in Germany compared to here? -
Finally Got A Z!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
maxi-glasgow replied to Demolition49's topic in 350Z General
There is nothing worse than this stage in waiting for your car, on one hand you can't wait another minute to get your car and on the other hand it's just another work day for the garage so they work at their own pace and if they don't get something done one day it can wait till the next... -
Finally Got A Z!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good to see you finally found one. Will be the longest 5 days ever.... I was lucky, seen it on auto trader near midnight on the Thursday night, phoned them on Friday morning, flew over to Belfast Saturday morning and drove it back via the Ferry by that lunchtime. Waiting was never my strong point. Had one of these ever since -
It's back up to 97

maxi-glasgow replied to Demolition49's topic in 350Z General
I'll take a jaunt down the coast on Saturday morning and have a good look for you. Have you spoke to them yet? Just so I know to mention you when I go and I can call before heading down to arrange a test drive. -
Definitley considering selling my Z now!!

I know if I was spending that on a car it would immediately go down on a Nissan GTR. And get a quicker car into the bargain.... -
Parked in the underground carpark at Glasgow Harbour flats. First time I have seen it so wondering if it's just someone visiting?

Scottish owners **Abbey coming to Scotland!!**
maxi-glasgow replied to jacr87's topic in Abbey Motorsport
Right, I think it's time we got something sorted definitively for this. Stew, are you still organising this visit or not? I think everyone is going to end up spending their money on holidays if we don't get something locked down Stew, can you get perhaps two midweek dates from Abbey when they are available and put a new poll up asking everyone who has signified their interest to pick the best date? I know the money I have earmarked for this is burning a hole in my pocket -
It's the GT4 wheels I have and mines are the same as Sarnie says.

I only noticed this the other week, was sitting in the car waiting on my little girl with my drivers window down, and an old mate was walking past so asked me to come into his house to check his pool table so I locked the car and I never even got the front door and the alarm went off, it was a bit windy so that must be enough for the internal sensor to be activated.

Nitrous kit with progressive controller very cheap
maxi-glasgow replied to sketch's topic in Spotted on Ebay or Other
I got a quote from wizards of nos who have previously done a 350z installation which I think was either a 75 or 100 shot wet installation with a progressive controller for £1,400 installed. What you say about damaging the engine is to the contrary of what I read up on. As long as you stay to no more than 100 shot it should be perfectly safe as you are only using it once in a blue moon and your not putting anymore strain on the engine than what it can safely handle. -
Ah Ha found the issue - thought I was going mad!!

Doesn't do that with me, but I use Google Chrome and not IE. -
World Cup starting soon !!! C'mon England !!
maxi-glasgow replied to Tarmac@TarmacSportz's topic in Off Topic Discussion
I know the vast majority of Scots, Welsh and Irish don't like to see England winning purely because you never hear the end of it. You can get odds in the bookies to see how long into the very first broadcast from the World Cup it will take before a commentator mentions England and 66!!!! And then wonder why all the other nations want you beat? -
Has North Korea got any oil deposits? This will decide if anything will happen or not

I think these type of stories are common for lots of manufacturers regardless of the cost of their cars as recent posts from Aston and Jaguar owners have proven. I had never bought a car from a dealer until two cars ago when I bought a used car from Westcar Saab in Glasgow. Bought a 3 year old 95 Aero. I was getting a sound coming from the blowers so took it in after a few months and they gave it a quick check, front desk said they think it might be a simply case of leaves in the system but something like that would not be covered under warranty obviously, so he said he would mark the sheet down as needing the blower replaced that way all the labour for the full dash removal would be covered by Saab and I would get a new blower into the bargain. They were without doubt the best customer service giving company I have ever dealt with and never experienced this kind of service since unfortunately...

We have pool events in Inverness and we are all up there first weekend in June, we play it in the Chieftain hotel which most people say is decent. Most importantly the Steak Pie is absolutely superb.....

RS Tuning are based around the Leeds area. Most people only recommend either then or Abbey Motorsport so they would be a good choice in the North West.

Anyone seen the adverts for the new Peugot? Looks very similar to an Audi TT.... Just reading up about it, how can you claim to be a sports coupe and yet only put 1.6L petrol and 2.0L diesel engine in it??? http://www.peugeot.co.uk/vehicles/peugeot-car-range/peugeot-rcz/

Scottish owners **Abbey coming to Scotland!!**
maxi-glasgow replied to jacr87's topic in Abbey Motorsport
Doesn't make any difference to me, I just thought the original idea was Abbey were coming up FOR a weekend and do as many cars as possible during that weekend. I must have picked up the wrong end of the stick -
I know it's off topic but regarding Snatch, has anyone watched Snatch Wars on youtube where they use clips from Star Wars but darth vaders voice is brick tops from Snatch. Funniest thing ever. **NSFW or children due to swearing**

Scottish owners **Abbey coming to Scotland!!**
maxi-glasgow replied to jacr87's topic in Abbey Motorsport
Stew, I think we will get too many people giving different options, think the best thing to do would be to ask Abbey for two seperate weekend dates when it suits them, possibly a month away then take a poll on those two dates and go with majority. -
Sure it wasn't Kick-Ass

I don't think the guy done it to stop the robber, I think he perhaps took offence to being threatened by the masked gunman as he looked like he wanted to give him a bleaching.... Or perhaps he knows a replica gun when he sees it. Reminds me of the scene in Snatch where Vinney Jones is sitting in the pub and they try to hold him up, he says "the fact that you've got Replica written down the side of your guns, and the fact that I've got Desert Eagle point-five-oh written on the side of mine.....", "now F off". Brilliant.
