  1. I think it would look better if the whole bonnet was done carbon fibre or black to match the bulge.
  2. What I was thinking was this was developed before the 313 engine and therefore before the bulge bonnet from Nissan so would this fit under a bulge bonnet instead or is it just too high with the supercharger? The Evo review makes it sound even more appealing.
  3. Its defo not the drift one which was on here a couple of weeks ago as that was a stage 4 and had different air intake etc. Just noticed as someone post that there is absolutely no strut brace???? I presume the strut brace is absolutely required to make the front more rigid....what would be the downside to not having a strut brace?
  4. I had downloaded the Autotrader iPad app so was playing about with it and searched for a 350z with supercharger in the description and this was only one I seen, never seen this bonnet configuration before. What does everyone think? http://www.lewisjamesporsche.co.uk/used-cars/300-nissan-350z-350z.html
  5. Just watched that video and all I can think of is that Russell Brand and Freddy would be like two peas in a pod, their sexual preferences notwithstanding of course For me it was Dr Dre and have always had the majority of Rap in any of my cars ever since.
  6. Yes, it's a superb extension, made my life so much easier as I go out to Rutherglen and East End a fair bit from Partick so means right thru the tunnel and onto the M74, brilliant. As you say it's a pity they have throttled the speed limits on it. It's never made much sense to me why you can go out on single track country road and be doing 60 yet travel on a 3 lane motorway and be limited to 50.....
  7. Thats what I used since I got the GT4 wheels and couldn't fault them. Think I was paying roughly £115 per tyre for the front and not much more for the back.
  8. Kite was first to contact me so item is sold pending payment.
  9. Brand new, never been fitted. Can't find these for sale so don't know how much to sell for so will try £130. Is that too dear?
  10. Only see people talk about this torque application for Android but the subject title mentions iphone, so can someone confirm if it's possible to get this same app for the ipad, whether it's the iphone version or not? Been trying to search for it on the app store but loads of things come up called torque and can't see one which is the same as described, most are to calculate torque bolts etc....
  11. Think I'll come up next Friday. Won't be driving the new car on the track though, might kill myself!!!
  12. Watched this last night and it is a truly awesome film. I wasn't really into motorsports back in Senna's time but watching this just shows you how good he was. Back before technology ruled the F1 I believe he was untouchable, he took his car so far over the line it was scary. Highlight for me was the Brazil GP when he built up a big lead and with 3-5 laps to go his gearbox failed which meant he could only use 6th gear, and still won!!!!! The film also puts Prost in a very bad light indeed, as well as the bigwigs of F1.
  13. Never realised that before, just goes to show you. Please remove the maxiglasgow account then. maxi-glasgow is the one with all the PM's etc I was wondering how all of a sudden I was getting an email into my work inbox to say I had a PM when it's always my home address email which receives the notification
  14. Don't know if anyone else has experienced this but when I open the site on my iPad I don't see all my PM's. This morning I had 2 new messages so read them on my iPad before I left the house. Got into work and when I look in my inbox those messages aren't even there..on my iPad it only shows me something like 8 PM's in my inbox in total whereas on my computer it shows me 196 messages....
  15. I don't think there is much difference weight wise between the standard bonnet and a carbon fibre bonnet, the standard bonnet is surprisingly light. Remember swapping mines up at Alexs and I was bracing myself to take the weight when he was loosing off last bolt and it was light as a feather. Sure he mentioned that he weighed both standard and his carbon fibre bonnet and next to no difference. Carbon Fibre boot lid might be a big saving though.
  16. Hunted high and low and couldn't find any paper....was a last resort, honest. Bet it starts a trend though
  17. Just removed from my car. This is without doubt the best pound for pound mod you can do to your pre-HR engine Zed. You won't believe the difference this makes to the uplift in your car when you give it the beans. I don't think I still have the installation manual, but it's three small steps to install. Unplug cable from accelerator peddle, plug the grey plug in, plug the cable you just disconnected into the grey connector your see here and plug in a cable to the diagnostic port. Then it's just a case of a couple of keypresses and pressing the accelerator to configure it so it knows the very top and very bottom of the travel of peddle and away you go. I'll take £90 delivered. If your close enough to collect I will give something off and even give you a hand to install if your not too sure.
  18. Just removed from my car, in excellent condition with no visible marks or blemishes on it whatsoever. £115 delivered If your close enough to collect I will take something off the price for you.
  19. I have just traded in my 350z and took out my BT adapter before I traded it in on Tuesday. You can have it for £70 and I'll cover the postage.
  20. Being 42 I think I have reached that age
