  1. My 370z HAS tyre pressure monitoring or is this a different type system to what is required for MOT?
  2. Cheers for the replies, I had a funny feeling it would have an impact on ride. Bargain of the century though, think I may still buy them then punt them on eBay
  3. I have a mate who can get hold of Bridgestone 050s in the correct sizes for me but they are run flat models. Are these usable on the 370? Havent a clue? But need to ask as i have been offered them at £100 a corner....
  4. I've had the 4s for over a year and got myself an iPhone 5 when it came out and I think it feels so much better than the 4s, the weight is a massive difference in your hand. I still have both handsets as the 4s has my works number which I will be migrating shortly so I am carrying both around with me, and it really hits home the big difference in them both. I got the Zagg Invisible Shield front and back cover installed for me as I always get small bubbles under it and it's an amazing cover, guy in the shop took his iPhone out with the Zagg film cover and proceeded to take a set of keys to it, couldn't believe what I was watching, gave it a rub down and absolutely no marks whatsoever... It also gives the phone a rubbery feel and it won't slip out your hand, that's for sure. Recommended upgrade.
  5. As you have parked illegally you should just pay the fine.
  6. When i bought mines the showroom had a manual and auto at same price, i just came from an auto XKR and missed the manual, but most of all what would the point of having Syncro Rev without a manual gearbox be.
  7. I see an 07 plate 313 edition in black, full GT spec for just over 10k, but still under 10k and has 30k in miles. So with your budget it may be possible to stretch to a 313 model. Which is what I would be aiming for if it was on the limit of my budget.
  8. When I walked into the showroom and said to the guy I wanted anything but blue as the ones I have seen online look a peely wally blue. But in the flesh its an awesome colour, for some reason it never photographs how it looks in the flesh. When the sun shines it really pops out. Nice car, best colour
  9. So the Nismo doesn't even come with Connect Premium??? So are you simply paying for front and rear bumper and exhaust? I couldn't survive in my 370 without Connect. Musicbox is the shiz
  10. “Light-to-mid blue is always considered cool to the touch, cool to the eye,†says Eiseman. “Those who drive this shade like the coldness of it in the metal. And they’re the kind of people who have a calm demeanor to the point of really being unshakable. They’re very faithful. This is the kind of person that if it’s your friend, they’re going to be your friend forever.†Strange because I am always being told if I was any more laid back I'd be horizontal
  11. Think the yanks will be a good thing on home soil.
  12. Good luck with the sale, best item i ever bought for my 350. Does anyone know if they are bringing out either a harness or controller for the 370?
  13. This might be interesting. I would offer my car. Completely unmodified, 61 plate 370z GT, Blue.
  14. I notice someone say earlier that speed cameras don't need to be visible but if thats the case is it not a legal requirement that in areas where they wish to place a mobile unit there must be road signs to alert the driver to the fact speed cameras are in operation? Pretty sure that is the case in Scotland anyway. There are a few motorways and country roads which are infamous for the mobile units but there is a road sign stating speed cameras. These are static signs so you know it's a possibility on the road.
  15. So does an estate agent know how to build a house??? That's how I roll
  16. I remember when I first let the girlfriend use my 350z while I was away working, couldn't wait to get home and check every inch of the car to make sure she hadn't dented it or curbed an alloy... The biggest problem is, we all take great care of our car, in regards to parking etc, but if you have a wife or girlfriend with a beat up car, they don't think any different towards your car than they do their own. My girlfriend had a Clio which she had from brand new, but had load of little dings from car parks etc. And I am positive it got right on her nerves when I would take so much care washing the car and making sure I didn't park next to other cars etc But I bought her a new Nissan Juke two months ago, and I think she finally gets it. Shes now experiencing the fact she doesn't park near other cars, if she does park outside a hotel etc she sits so she can see it out the window etc... So now I don't have any qualms about letting her drive the 370z, although she has never had a shot of it yet and that's me had it 6 months so far....
  17. I have launched a new website with a mate, basically it's the same as ebay only a lot cheaper. We bought an off the shelf solution from a software company and part of that included logo design and a custom theme for the website. In the beginning every email was promptly replied to and every question answered, then after a couple of weeks I sent countless emails asking how the logo and theme were coming along and got absolutely no reply. So I designed a basic logo myself and we are both quite happy with it, and we found one of the templates they had for the site we both quite liked. But now I am looking for someone with extensive PHP knowledge who can tweak some of the layout and perhaps add some boxes onto the site where we can post news etc to fill in some blank spaces the template has. I'm also looking for someone who could take the rough logo I have put together and hopefully put together a vector version of it as this would make it much better looking when we try to put it on flyers etc, which we are close to placing an order for. We don't mind paying for a persons time who could help us out.
  18. Thought it was me for a minute there, but it was Wednesday night around that time I was travelling westbound on the M74, was going eastbound on the M8 around that time last night
  19. I think a new intake might well be my first mod, either that or a different exhaust as it's the only thing which has disappointed me with the 370, lack of any kind of noise. Don't fancy having to take the bumper off though, so what intake replacement would you advise Tarmac which doesn't require so much work to replace? I presume the OEM intakes can be removed without removing the bumper?
  20. Going from a Jap car to a handbuilt car is not the best move, you get lots of small gremlins creep up and after 2 years without a single issue with the 350Z it was a pain in the backside. I have a heavy right foot so i really noticed the difference in fuel consumption as well, if you doddle about you can get close to 30mpg just like the Zed, but when you can press that accelerator hard in the floor and it kicks down and supercharger screams the front of the car physically lifts up, so its impossible to doddle about And then the handling never feels confident. But having umpteen things go wrong in about 10 months ownership soured the experience for me.
  21. More or less what i done, i traded in my 350z for a Jaguar XKR, was simply a car i always wanted to own so i scratched that itch. Lost a fortune when i had enough though, and realised what a mistake i made so wanted another 350. Just happened into a dealers to see if they had any used 350s and ended up on test drive in a 370, after you try out a 370 and feel what feels like far more grip and an interior to die for in comparison i simply had to have it. I bought that demonstrator which was fully kitted and only 900 miles on the clock for £24k, which is a massive saving over new, so that lessens the depreciation a bit. Never regretted it for a single moment.
  22. Its the old Anderson centre, looks like they will be shooting down Cadogan Street.
  23. I believe they are shooting some scenes in Glasgow as parts of it look like many other European cities. Remember the Brad Pitt movie being shot in the city centre because it looked like Philly.
  24. Just getting into work and camera crews are setting up right outside to start shooting F&F6..... So might need to be hanging about outside all day to see some action.. Going to ask if they need a Le Mans Blue 370z for some stunts
  25. I can only echo what others have said before regards the 370, I have found it the proper step up from the 350. When I have put my foot down it effortlessly doesn't let me get into trouble, whereas a few times I would feel the back of the 350 going and I never drive with TC off. The 370 just has far more technology there to help you out and I for one would never need more performance than this. The reviewer seems to base excitement on getting the car squirming when cornering and if you watch that video that's certainly the case for the 86, but if I were ever to do that your arse is going at a rate of knots and that is not what I call excitement, but fear I prefer it when I drive spiritedly that I am planted on the road.
