  1. My bad.......I must've just looking at the first part of the form and saw the words CHARGE £15-17.50 a day and not looking below for the ean air exempt I still think these ANPR cameras in Manchester are the start of many more charges to come , be it clean air or congestion
  2. My dad lives in London. He is the official taxi for my two brothers kids. With the new expansion of the clean air zones, even though he's by no means Central London he will be paying clean ai zone charges to drive through Clapham as his 2013 Kia Sorento isn't exempt. When I checked online, neither is the 350z or our 2006 Mini Cooper. Up here in Manchester they're setting up ANPR cameras for their clean air zone charging next year. Only Commercial vehicles are affected apparently, but I don't think it will be long before they include private cars too when the money starts rolling in. I think this is how they'll get rid of petrol cars in the end
  3. Looking very snazzy with the drilled and grooved discs All the more satisfying that you did it yourself.
  4. ..........and you got one that's rusty ALL OVER Only kidding mate. Welcome to the OC from another "rusty" colored Zed owner After 16 years ownership I still sometimes just stand there for a moment admiring the gold glow from the orange paint at night
  5. The 240z looks so small between the 370s. Almost though it was an MG at first!
  6. I'll take one in gunmetal me thinks.....
  7. Matt is a great guy. Been to a DetailingWorld open day tutorial at his unit once. This is such simple advice that makes so much sense I wonder why I didn't think of it myself
  8. A work of art indeed and in excellent condition. Love the name "SHOCKWAVE" too
  9. Oooooo.........a Nismo N1 kit IN WHITE! Never seen a while one in the flesh. Now that is special 😎👍
  10. What he said^ Welcome from Manchester
  11. Well I'm sure it won't be hard finding your Nismo a new home if you decide to sell. They get snapped up in a heartbeat.
  12. I was very lucky with the weather today. Headed towards the M6 at about 6.40am just as the sun was starting to appear. Headed down the B5359 then to A535 to meet jn 15. Was dry. Road almost completely empty Was twighlight so you could still see the road ahead but oncoming cars had lights on prewarning you of approach around bends and bushes. Mostly 50/60/derestricted twisty roads and a Zed What more could you ask for. The cherry on the cake was my return journey was dry too despite it raining all day in-between. Dashcam was playing up otherwise I'd have posted a video. Didn't even have to break the limits to enjoy the drive as I thought 50-60mph in 3rd on the twistys was pleasure enough.
  13. What cars are tempting you to part with this beauty?
  14. Was a great day out despite the rain. I saw these aftermarket rear indicators today which I thought were lush. The fact they were on this freshly resprayed beauty probably had something to do with my attraction.
  15. Sent the day with the kids at Manchester Anime Gaming Con. The highlight of the day for me was seeing the Anime themed Mx5s parked outside. Definitely suit neons

  16. Thanks for all the advice. @Jack94 the Philips bulbs are a gorgeous upgrade. Gone are the faint yellow candle like sidelights. New ones about 4x brighter in my opinion and match well with the main lights.
  17. Another Manchester member Along with "Mr V6" that makes 3 of us I know of Just got my zed ready. Yesterday was a bit of a nightmare. Went to change my blown side lights. 5 min job they said No need to remove the wheel they said. So I jacked up the car. Full steering lock Took off 3 arch clips Moved it aside Saw the bulb. After 1/2 hr of twisting on it with finger and thumb it wasn't budging So got my pliers. After 20 min of trying to get them on the bulb I dropped the pliers between the liner and the bumper via the red arrow where they found a new home marked "X" Then it went dark. So today after taking the kids out I took the wheel and the whole liner off. Fished out my pliers. Got them on the bulb with ease and fitted my new ones ready for tomorrow. Don't know why I then washed it as I'll be driving 2 hours in torrential rain to the meet. Alas I'll seek solace in watching the beading from my Sonax BSD drying aid at least.
  18. I've jacked up the front. Got access to the bulb. Is it normal to be stiff as hell? Worried about putting pliers on and forcing an anti clockwise turn to get it out in case I snap something
  19. See if the brake lights come on normally but only when the brake pedal is depressed more than about 5mm. If so the switch may be ok but may just need repositioning to not seat so deep.
  20. Very high standard of finish I get nervy just removing any trim, let alone cutting intricate pieces out!
