  1. Sorry I can't help with any of your questions. You'll have to wait for our resident detailing professor ilogical1 to respond!
  2. Once you've given the car a good decon and put your last stage product on a quick maintenance wash will be just that.....nice and easy. As long as you haven't let dirt cake on for months the dirt will glide off with a gentle 2bm wash. I've been using C2v3 since it was first released. So quick to use and so cheap I use it neat. Gave the car a coat this morning and it took less time to coat and buff than to wash the car!
  3. Don't get disheartened. There are some well cherished zeds out there. I remember reading about one recent member selling a white kitted zed who used to clean the car AND UNDERCARRIAGE after each wet outing before parking in his garage!
  4. Hi ilogikal1, do you ever find the C5 leaves a slightly "grabby" finish? This was the only reason I put some C2v3 on top. I'm a sucker for running my fingers across the surface feeling it as slippery as the inside of an "American pie"
  5. The ground patterns set off some nice reflections on the flanks of your ride.
  6. Car looks ON FIRE.......I'm sure there will be a few who will now consider this Range Rover red in future.
  7. New rims Can't beat that time when the rims are box fresh. This is a unique opportunity when they're spotless to keep them indoors, wipe down with ipa and apply Gtechniq C5 wheel armour at your leisure in the comfort of your own home. Then buy some C2v3 (which is dead cheap and easy to use) to top it off. I did this about 6 months ago on my daily used Zed and all I clean with now is shampoo. I use the C2v3 on the bodywork as my LSPand occasionally on my rims too. It's like water. Spray. Spread. Buff. Surfaces don't even have to be bone dry which is a bonus when topping up slickness to he rims.
  8. Just let me know the time and the place and I'll meet up with you
  9. Sounds like a plan veeg33. I'm pretty flexible up until Friday 12 Aug. I'll PM you my number and you can let me know when you're free
  10. Love the last pic.
  11. Looking crystal clear It's amazing how much better they make the whole car look. You'll be constantly looking at other peoples cloudy lenses now thinking "if only they polished them up their car would be so much better"

    Corsa VXR

All I know is they look the business. All aggressive like a little fighter jet. Arden blue is my favourite but black with bronze rims looks pretty trick too
  13. Top guys at L&C I once went for a service there and there were 2 other zeds there, owners and all. It was like a mini meet. Kinda reassuring leaving your Zed at the garage amonst other Zeds.
  14. Just a heads up. on Quest now. Turning an old R33 into a drift car.

  15. Most abrasive polishes will work ranging from dedicated polishes for paint or plastics to Megs Metal Polysh and even toothpaste Polishing by hand is possible. Is alot faster with a machine if you can get your hands on one. Then you can seal with a coating such as Gtechniq C4. This may need a top up after 6months or so. But polishing is so easy I wouldn't get too hung up on what sealant to use. I mean.....we often re wax or re seal THE WHOLE CAR every month or so......so not a big deal doing diddy headlight every few months with something as easy as a spra sealant and the like.
  16. That honestly looks like the normal uv damage you get on most zed headlights. Even the pattern of cloudiness is the same as ive had on my sunset, with most of the damage at the top where the sum hits it more. I'm pretty sure polishing them will bring back the bling
  17. I don't think they're gonna catch him
  18. That's a beast of a Zed. If anyone was contemplating a charged Zed this would be irresistible. Sunset orangeas a colour doesn't get the props it deserves. I reckon it's because it's so hard capturing it's true beauty on camera. I hope you get a worthy price for your chariot
  19. This pic "looks" clearer and brighter but is not what my eyes were seeing. Despite being a lot brighter than what I actually saw, it looks "better" to me because I can see more of the car. This was exposure 1" f4.5 ISO 100
  20. Good man.......you know it makes sense Hopefully will get to meet you and your rims next Sunday for a curry if you're free?
  21. Looks like a nice quiet space to work on pampering the Zed. Results look spot on. Unfortunately for me my missus has ZERO interest in looking after cars and frowns upon me spending hours on it. Luckily for me she's taken the kids to Hong Kong to see grandparents for the summer. UNDISTURBED GUILT FREE ZED BONDING
  22. Pristine rims really set the car off. I can't recommend Gtechniq C5 highly enough to preserve the loveliness you now have. Trickier to apply than most waxes but truly long lasting protection. Loads of YouTube guides on application and cure times.
  23. Pic 1 0"4 f4.5 ISO 100 Pic 2 1/4 f4.5 ISO 100 Pic 3 1/25 f4.5 ISO 100 The colours look different on the tablet compared to the camera display but I suppose that's always the case. I used a halogen tripod as a light source and a tripod for the camera.
