I work on Dumbarton road in partick so might see you around. I don't have a zed anymore so you probably won't see me lol
Eurocentral on the M8 in Lanarkshire, Sunday morning

I had plastidip on the wheels on my shed. Wasn't a great finish they always looked dirty lol but it lasted fine until I had a tyre changed then it started peeling
Not a bad idea for a polished lip etc through winter
Defo worth doing it at silverstone if it's not too far from you. Or even if it is- I travelled from glasgow
My only advice would be get some track days under your belt before you book if you haven't done so already. Silverstone was my first track day experience. I was looking forward to driving a Ferrari and hadn't given the track any thought. When I went it was more about the track than the car and it was over before I knew it. Should've just hired a Ferrari for an hour to go posing on the street But when I drove the 430 I had done a few track days so I could really appreciate the capability of the car not just the looks
...if that makes sense lol
Did a similar experience at silverstone a few years back. It was the same as yours but an exige s and 360 challenge. The instructors do encourage you to push the car harder. A lot of members on here say most circuits are the opposite but they were great at silverstone
The last lap as a passenger was awesome
Had a go in a 430 at knockhill earlier this year for my birthday. Amazing machines!
That noise.........
Just to add to cold eps summary of the 33 model line up- gtst is a single turbo and gtr is a twin turbo
In terms of costs- I bought mine over 3 years ago for around 3k. When it got written off I was paid out around 5.5k. Values have shot up recently. But I would still expect cash your way if trading in a zed
Went for an r33 gtst after my zed. Great cars but generally require more maintenance than a zed and I got fed up with that interior driving it on a daily basis lol
Different power delivery to the zed being a turbo. Felt really nimble for such a big car but couldn't match the zeds handling
I don't get the stigma with this. There's a market for it so why not tap into it?
It doesn't have to be exciting to drive it's a people carrier
It's been out a year but people are still crying about it

Agree with dan that gunmetal is incredibly boring. But iv always said that darker greys can look really good on the right car
Dan won't agree but we will show him that he's not always right
That g35 looks the part in a darker grey
There was a member on here who had the same rear as yours and painted it the same as the m3 dtm. Can't find his other threads but here a pic I did find
I wouldn't be put off by a custom paint job. As long as it looked good. The only thing that would cross my mind would be getting a good colour match on future repairs but thats not a huge issue
Follow your heart not your head. Make the car yours
That's the thing with orange. If you go for something unique it could look too similar to temper orange. And there's a member up here running a temper with charge speed rear bumper and side steps.....
As mentioned before go for bmw sakhir orange. Looks red in some lights. Gorgeous colour. Google it for more pics
