  8. I mostly get trouble at Tesco filling stations, but not all of them. Never a problem when I use V Power, maybe it's trying to tell me something? maybe a red herring, but someone suggested a blocked breather pipe, is the tank meant to be under vacuum as I get quite a 'woosh' when I take the petrol cap off?
  9. words cannot describe that car... Fully kitted out landrover defender (not a big 4x4 fan but these are better than a hummer any day!) 69 dodge charger Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione
  10. I've had numerous incidents like that lately where people cut into my lane, with only inches to spare... are people not checking their mirrors or the blind spot these days?! or are they just tossers?! completely oblivious to their surroundings!
  11. shame they don't update it every month like they used to...

  17. Don't think its anything to do with starter motor or solenoid. I wouldnt worry about it, just sounds like a cold start. Do you do a lot of short journeys?
  18. Unlucky.... hope its repairable Sounds like either they didn't look before pulling out or you were in their blind spot. Either way, they weren't aware of what's going on around them! I get so annoyed by people with poor lane discipline, especially when they straight-line roundabouts when you're in the second lane and cut you up!

    Tyres

I had brand new vredesteins on the front and old bridgestones on the back for a few months and had no problems at all. It sounds like its luck of the draw as to whether you get traction control issues.

I think that the standard fit Bridgestones are generally poorly regarded by most on here

    Tyres

Unfortunately they don't make those in the correct sizes for the rear, as I was looking for a set at the weekend. Thats what I thought when I looked a few months ago I have Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta's and I'm very pleased with the grip on them. (they look good too )
  22. You could get someone to reply to the NIP while you're away, then you'd be back home within 2 weeks to deal with it? it can take months to get a court summons...
