are you getting it for piece of mind or saving money on insurance? If it has been stolen and trashed about I'd rather not see it again I had a tracker in my last car and the insurance company didn't seem to care less if it was on or not, just that it had an immobiliser... that made it a waste of money in my opinion. I've also heard that they don't work well if the car is hidden in a container ?

I was thinking about asking why people leave the spare key in the car, but then I remembered once I left the keys in the ignition, car on the drive for 24 hours so shouldn't really comment

it really depends on the service history of the car, and whats been done in the past. I've just had a P2 done, about same mileage as yours, I got the plugs changed but the coolant and brake fluid were both tested and found to be within spec so didn't need changing this time.

second can be a little bit stiff to engage when cold, but nothing like trying to put it back into first when stopped at a junction!

I think technically they are illegal to retro fit, but from what I've heard, if they are adjusted properly then they tend to get overlooked at MOT time.

I like the sound of mine, but a few people complain it doesn't sit right... personally I can cope with this!
