  1. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3447374.htm Want to sell it quick because I've already got my eye one something else! Taxed until May 2012, MOT due now and will be done this week. Brand new rear tyres (Bridgestone RE050A). GT pack, which means - 18" RAYS alloys - BOSE 6CD changer - climate control - full leather (heated electric seats) - Brembo brakes - 350Z mats - steering wheel controls for stereo and cruise control One previous owner, with full service history by Nissan main dealer (mostly WLMG Mill Hill where I bought the car) and Japex (my local specialist): P1 - 9,209 (Lookers Nissan) P2 - 17,764 (Nissan Mill Hill) P1 - 26,232 (Nissan Mill Hill) P1 - 35,130 (Nissan Mill Hill) P2 - 43,487 (Nissan Mill Hill) P3 - 48,777 (Japex) P1 - 53,852 (Japex in July 2011) Sorry, no test drives due to insurance, but I'm happy to take you out as a passenger. Selling because I don't drive it enough! No canvassers! I've also got a Blitz Nur-Spec Touring exhaust and Berk HFCs for sale which I'll put up once I've taken some photos...
  2. Bought my Blitz last yr for about £1,000 - and it's certainly loud (I've also got Japspeed y-pipe (very raspy) and Berk HFCs)! Looked at HKS full dual but they're around £1,800 to £2k because sterling was falling against the Yen. Same with Amuse (>£2,000), 5Zigen (c.£1,600). Cheers, Alex
  3. My exhaust is: Berk HFCs > Japspeed Y-pipe > Blitz Nur Spec-T. All of the rasp comes from the Y-pipe. If I had the chance to do it again, I'd prob. go for the XYZ.
  4. Email HKS Europe. There is apparently a European version with a different part number. I found my reply on the same topic from last year: "Are you talking about the HKS HiPower True Dual? If so, there's a UK version and a US/JDM version. The UK version is designed to fit straight on. The UK version is 32009-AN002. The US (and I assume JDM) version is 32009-BN001 - this requires modification to fit UKDM cars. I confirmed this with HKS Europe earlier this year when I was shopping for a new exhaust. The HKS replica system linked to above is 2.25" diameter, which is the same as standard." HTH
  5. ARLA/NALS are there for your protection to stop rogue landlords from keeping your deposit without good reason. If you've got that much supporting evidence why don't you go to court? Without seeing the emails it sounds as though you have grounds to feel aggrieved. Is your landlord an ARLA/NALS member? Either way, I'd suggest Googling them to see what their websites suggest - it may be that you can get some free advice over the telephone.
  6. Ride Drive training course would be about £300 for a full day inc. an hour at an airfield. For driving experiences I've generally heard good things about 6th Gear.
  7. OK, Y-pipe now fitted. It's pretty much as Yokomo said: only marginally louder, a little more aggressive and a tad raspier. Haven't really tried yet, but feels a little re urgent. Cheers, Alex
  8. Having a Japspeed Y-pipe fitted to my car next week (already has Berk HFCs and Blitz Nur-Spec T), will post if I can discern any difference!
  9. Have just moved to them on a multicar policy - £250 cheaper than last year.
  10. How many miles have you done since you bought it Will? Driven it on track/airfield etc? (If so, have you told the garage this?!) £550 for a backbox is pretty expensive, you could get a stainless steel Blueflame catback system fitted for similar money, or a Milltek for a couple of hundred more.
  11. HFCs add, subjectively, around 10% to the volume and a bit more bark/rasp.
  12. Yes, 2.25" or 57mm AFAIK. 2.36" is 60mm.
  13. Are these still 'Out of Stock'? Where can I source an alternative? I need a 2.5" inlet from my Berk HFCs so an OEM Y-pipe will be no good.
  14. Similar thing happened to me a few years ago. I got a letter saying that payment for an SP30 had not been forthcoming and because I hadn't responded I would have to appear in court. I called up and told them that I was waiting for my driving licence to come back because I'd sent it to the DVLA for a change of address. The lady I spoke to was fine and agreed to put the matter on hold for 2 weeks. Make the effort to call them and they'll sort it out with you - without having to go to court.
