  1. Was just about to say that Fiddy. Most I have ever got in was about 55 litres but I always fill up when its near the quarter tank mark.
  2. Hi Dan and welcome to the forums. Just wondering where you got that info from. Would be interested to see what its like for the Zed.
  3. I couldn't wait any longer but let me know when your up and running.

    Audi TT RS

I was just about to say the spoiler looks pants. But on the whole the car looks nice, too much moola though. Could think of better things to buy for the same price, or less!
  5. Hi Sam, welcome to the forum. It was my first car forum too and although I am a self confessed petrolhead, I know nothing about the mechanics of cars. Best time to buy now all the snow has gone, so enjoy yourself and be careful. I'm still a bit reserved going around corners but I more then make up for it on the straights! As mentioned above, photobucket really is good......and its free.
  6. Looks cool Lexx, from the first picture I thought you had that pic printed onto the back pocket of a pair of black jeans. Its 12.37 and I've still not woken up properly yet
  7. Sounds like a plan if I have some free time in the summer. Anyone know when the 'Zed club' meet up is?
  8. Just been checking out the format and it looks brilliant. Maybe something to keep in mind for the future. Checked out http://www.britballrun.co.uk/site/cars/ and noticed there is an ESR Zed on the car page. Does it belong to anyone off here?
  9. I used to love UT but then moved onto Battlefield 2. GPU has decided to melt itself at the moment though so its only surfing the net for me currently
  10. I'm 6 foot 3 and have no problems with the car. Just play around with the seat until you find a confortable position. As mentioned before, remember to use the dials on the right side and not just the electric switches on the left. I sometimes use my Zed to travel to rugby games, and have my other 2nd row in the passenger seat. He is 6 foot 7 and still has decent leg room. Can get two kit bags in the boot too.........its so practical
  11. Glad you sorted it all out. Matth. Nothing worse then coming back to find someone has 'customised' your car with a key. I do exactly the same with parking miles away from other cars. I won't even chance taking mine to the cinema car park in Middlesbrough, dent heaven with the tight spaces.
  12. True pro, straight back on the camera as soon as the car passed (all be it sideways!) As mentioned above, I'd have reacted very differently. You'd have been able to smell my fear!!!
  13. I can vouch for that. Had a nice 200 mile trip back in my new purchase. Had a massive all the way and still do now, 3 months on! Welcome Seraphic, and good luck finding something you like
  14. Maybe he is going for the 'Superman colour themed Zed' award?
  15. Car looks amazing. I'm a big fan of the Nismo kit, just not got enough money Very tidy example.
  16. Hello mate, just noticed you're from Yarm... Spent many a boozy night in the Tall Trees back in the day - is that still open? Yep its still open and going strong. I was part of the 7000 peeps there last month for a massive night by the boys at Goodgreef! You do right Had Ham to stand by your guns. In some industries basic service is lacking!
  17. I'd say its a buyers market and if the slightest thing isn't right, move on. There are plenty of bargains out there, keep looking. Just my opinion.
  18. Has anyone done this before? Its something I'd definately be interested in, and I'd be guesing it doesn't wreck your tyres/car as much as track days would. Would that be right?
  19. I'm sure someone will come along in a minute with an accurate and extensive list but here is what I look for to see if its a GT. Cruise Control - should have six buttons on the steering wheel. As far as I know, all GT's come with this. You are correct with the seats, they should be electric but the switch for them is on the left side of the chair. Mine has those manual dials too, they are for the movement of the seat height and leg support thing. It looks like the updated interior. The main way I can tell the difference is that the three dials have chrome details on them. One other good way to check is to see where the hazard light button is. If its just under the three dials infront of the gear stick, its the updated model. Mine (an 04 plate) has it way back on the centre console, near the seat warmer buttons. Hope that helps.
  20. Quad turbo......thats scary!
  21. Was just about to say it would be quicker to walk Cara. I took the bus one day when the snow hit a few weeks back. Was a nightmare. The service that comes by every 10 minutes didn't turn up for 45 minutes, and then they charged me £2.40 one way. Even if it costs me more in the Zed I'd much rather take it, despite the snow! At least its not a regular thing for you Lexx. Cara on the other hand, I feel sorry for you
  22. I have that problem too. Just need to get a big set of ladders and I'll be evicting them!
