    This may explain what has happened to the car I'm about to buy. Its a silver GT with black mudflaps. Looks unique but I'd ideally want them silver to match the rest of the bodywork. Looks like I'm going upto ESR once I get the car at the weekend........any excuse to go to the spiritual home of Zedland!

    Completely forgot about the attraction between women and firemen..........it must be genetic as I've never met a woman yet who doesn't like them! Cheers for the advice Nixy, chugging down fresh orange juice now.

    as we speak my better half is suffering with the weaker strain of Imfluenza called lady sniffles. I'm managing to fight off the man flu at the moment but its a losing battle. Half the office already has it and I don't think I'll be able to hold out until the weekend when I pick the Zed up

    That sucks Lexx, lets hope the coppers down in Boro are a bit more lenient. Saying that he did sound like a decent one, for a change.

    Northallerton is out in the sticks around the Middlesbrough/Darlington area of the North East. Coopers, there are a few people in the general area that have Zeds and I know Lexx was trying to sort out a north east meet but it all fell through. Will have to get something sorted out early next year, everywhere else is putting us to shame!

    I saw one the other day and it looked awesome. I didn't realise how imposing they look until I saw it in the flesh! I'm assuming thats the Darlington in the North East near me. Thats one hell of a round trip for parts......still gives you a good excuse to go out for a long drive!

    Have you considered that not all of the drivers will have been driving to the full potential (and speed) the car is capable of. Even if the Mini was faster on paper (which by the looks of it, it isn't) at the end of the day it is still a mini

    Out of memory isn't that the car that was sold by the guy in Wales? I only say that because he had some detailing work done to it before he sold it, and included pics of that within his post. A very tidy example! As for bartrum, spam him!

    Brilliant comment, had me in stitches in the office and now I'm being looked at as if I'm mad! Each to their own though, if we all had the same criteria for a car we wouldn't have all the different colours, makes and models. As nice as the Scirroco looks, its a Zed all the way for me!
