  1. When I first joined the Volvo website there was a pdf file explaining the basics of the game and also the sail options. I hastly skimmed through it and am now regrettingit. Does anyone know if it is on the website somewhere?
  2. Is that just a Nismo V1 spoiler above with the base chopped off or something different? I like the look of it
  3. I know where your coming from but its nice to have so much rugby on the TV. As I don't have sky I'm like a kid at Christmas at the moment
  4. If your hitting China on the next leg your well off course. Room for another boat with you MrLizard? Maybe best if you get a tug boat for the next leg Matrin
  5. can you get the mag from WH Smiths? Defo worth a look, those pics are great!
  6. It all kicks off again on Saturday the 14th doesn't it? I rolled in yesterday sometime under cover of darkness, no doubt the crew of "the flying zed" were tired after a 20 day hard slog at sea! Looking forward to the next leg.
  7. Your liver will definately thank you for it the morning after Only 5 days to go till the next round of 6 Nations games. Can't wait!
  8. On this topic, i've bought some 5w40 Silkolene Pro S in preperation for my P1 service. Took advice from this thread http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... 0&start=15 Just wondering what type of air filter I'll need and where is the best place to get it from? I've got a 2004 UK Zed. Cheers guys.
  9. You don't fancy the Irish Jay, even after they beat the French?
  10. Hi and welcome Woody. Defo up for that Les. Had a few new members in the North East recently. Would be nice to meet everyone.
  11. England underperformed badly. When they did run the ball Italy looked very stretched in defense. Ellis did well to show that and got 2 tries for his efforts, great sniping scrum half! Thought Haskell played well, as well as Noon. He hits hard for a small guy. Was lucky enough to have a few training sessions with him last summer. He is about 5 foot 6 tall, and 5 foot 6 wide! The Irish and French game was a lot better. Both teams playing good attacking rugby. Lets see how the Welsh and Scottish do today. After last nights session at the rugby club, the hangover is just starting to kick in! Think I'm back off to bed till the Welsh game
  12. I've never been one for older cars, but both of those 240's are amazing!
  13. Mine doesn't skip, it kinda stops and then picks up again from the spot it stopped. As M350ZB says, this only happens when it is cold and only recently too (when its been below zero!) Mine is a 54 plate out of warrenty and I doubt I'll be as lucky as Christine.
  14. Nice looking car, I'm sure you will have a massive for a long time once you get it. I still have, and its been nearly 2 months since I picked mine up. I can get a sports bag in the boot on the other side of the suspension cover no problem, and its a big rugby bag. You should be fine, if not just meet people there and use the passenger seat for your bag
  15. Argghhhhhhh, tried to get on today for my daily fix of sailing and work have blocked the site. Grrrrrrrrrr how will I cope?! Looks like morning and evening check ups for me but I haven't been on since last night. Looks like the next leg is a monster, all the way to Rio. Can't wait for that one!
  16. Glad you got back in one piece Craigo, wait till the weather sorts itself out and you can hear it properly!

    Snow

Its still coming down quite heavily here but is on and off. Seems to be settling on the ground a bit too well for my liking. Will definately be taking our other car out tomorrow, 206 1.4 diesel. Fingers crossed for your flight still being on Nixy, and yours Martin. p.s just had the following email circulated around at work. We have received the following Warning from the Met Office. From 18.00 Monday 2 February to 12.00 Tuesday 3 February. There is a moderate risk of an extreme event affecting many parts of the northeast of England. Further heavy, drifting snow with blizzard conditions in places is likely, more particularly over higher ground where further accumulations of 20 to 30 cm of snow are possible.
  18. Chuffed the Stealers won, but haven't seen the whole game. Managed to watch the first quarter then dropped off to sleep. Thought Ben was unlucky with his reversed rushing touchdown decision. Mistimed my weekend and was out clubbing till 5am on sunday morning........
  19. I love that photo Sunsetzed, the snowman looks a bit fed up though. Maybe he woiuld feel better with some friends there? We have a bit here, and I chose to go on the bus to work. Little did I know my Fiance has a snow day at her school today so is now sat back at home! Damn teachers, get loads of holidays as it is AND then days off when it snows! I'm only jealous!
  20. Since I know nothing about sailing in real life I probably wouldn't understand the upgrades! I'm just having a leisurely sail, bit of a drink and a bit of a sunbathe. Its not a sprint, its a marathon
