  1. Hope the weather holds up for you Beavis. At the moment its looking pretty warm today.........I'm noticing that sat in my horrifically warm office! Good luck in the poker
  2. Had me chuckling. I'm slightly worried at how you found this video though BM! Did you just pick it up on your daily search of Bonnie Tyler videos on youtube?
  3. Woohoo, this is definately the first (and therefore the best) thing I've won! I'm glad that we managed to raise a decent amount and hope you all had a good day at JTS. From the sounds of it the weather was perfect!
  4. I've always loved the look of them, a total change from the previous model. Why the change?
  5. Looking very Perfect weather to relax and let your arm recover with a nice cold beer!
  6. Looks like a little argument going on in the background Wheels look very
  7. That is the most shocking state I have ever seen a Zed's paintwork in Lets hope the next owner treats it better!
  8. Best thing: Definately the sound of the exhaust when you hit the noisy peddle, and peoples face when you say you own a Nissan and they expect a Micra but then see the Zed Worst thing: Nothing really. One of my pet hates is that when I use the window washers and I have the drivers window open, the water drips down the inside of the drivers door............I'm gonna come in for a flaming on this! Someone else must have done it?
  9. Amen to that Jay, but now its the off season it will be me turning into the big fatty! In all fairness, he could have just caught his nose on a sign or fallen over and battered himself off the kerb....etc etc. Not likely but I'm thinking of none violent ways he could have got the extra hole on his nose.
  10. After having first hand experience of general Nissan Stealership workmanship, I would definately elect to bed them in yourself. As Martin has said, you will be the one in the car if they have done it wrong and brakes are a pretty major thing. Have a brilliant 21st
  11. I think its a sign of the times now, but the only thing I found shocking about those pictures is the amount of litter there was. Unfortunately Brits abroad are exactly the same. I've just come back from a stag weekend in Benidorm and there were some sorry states out there! Didn't get any pics though
  12. Fro what I have heard and read, the silverline isn't a bad machine. Just to echo the main points from the above posters, if you have never used one before I'd go with a Random Orbit.
  13. Yesterday I started washing the car, got as far as doing the wheels before getting drenched! Waited 45 minutes, then washed the rest of the car and had enough time to dry it before getting drenched again. Went food shopping, got drenched coming out of Tesco. Went to the cinema last night to see Angels and Demons, was a good film. Got drenched going back to the car. Staying in today revising, but off to the cinema tonight again to watch Star Trek with some mates..........bet I get drenched again! Hope they are having better weather in Wales.
  14. *quietly packs away his Nike Shock trainers and matching Burberry cap* The kit is a mess, and I appreciate that some people like to do it in bits, but wouldn't you save up for it in stages? Wheels, spacers and lowering in one go, then save for the body kit AND fitting/painting all at once.
  15. I was disappointed to see Hatton dismissed so easily by Manny but it just goes to show how much class Pacquiao has. Just gotta keep my fingers crossed for Haye now.
  16. I'm bucking the trend, no Richbrook holder for me. Mine is a basic one with the details on of the garage I bought the car from.
  17. Which three months would that be...........October, November and December? I know you like to take on the MET office every now and then Martin, but can you manage to do it for a whole summer? Just realised that this smiley is a face in a scarf with a hat on. I thought it was a face with a hat on, sitting on top of a plane.............may need my eyes testing!
  18. Cheers for the heads up, its definately one to keep in mind when I come around to getting my P2 done.
  19. Really sorry to hear this, when I read the figures at the beginning I was like keeping my fingers crossed that you are able to sort it out, as people have said there appears to be light at the end of the tunnel.
  20. Thats not good. I bet the driver of the Lambo had brown trousers when he got out of the car. Suppose that accident was to be expected when your car is shaped like a wedge!
  21. I thought claying a car was meant to have the same effect, clearing all previous wax and polish off. Have I got this wrong or are you making certain there is nothing left on the paint? Claying pulls the nasty stuff off / out of the paint. The wash will do as Martin says (although I wouldn't recommend Fairy myself!) and the clay 'cleans' the paint of the contaminates, sap, grit etc. in the topcoat. cheers for clearing that up for me, just when I thought I had understood car detailing

  23. Hi nick, in terms of insurance I think you'd be paying a bit less then the £500 you were forking out for your boxster. On the tyres front, Maccaman has it covered. MPG wise, I'm looking at getting about 22-24 on a weekly trundle about, work and back with only a tiny bit of dual carriageway roads. Not sure about the other bits like brake pads or clutch, only had mine for 5 months.

    Tape Deck

If thats the only thing he is taking the **** out of, he is running short of ideas I don't even know if mine works, never used it. Thought it was a bit wierd that it had one in, did Nissan think tapes were all the rage in 2002 when the first Zeds were built?
