Anyone on PS4 add me (jimboy2). Should start a little cod group. I picked my copy up on Friday. Definitely not the same game now with the wall running and some of the "perks" that the specialist guys let you have, ....whether that's a good thing or not I can't say just yet. Still makes me shout "for f**ks sake!!" though at the TV every time a 12 year old boy or girl kills me so definitely the same game in that respect. I prefer the IW games over Treyarch, in all honesty. I picked up BO3 though and finished the story and have spent an hour or two playing mutliplayer now. It's not a bad game! It's a bit tricky learning the movement patterns especially with wall-running now as you can end up running around trees by mistake. SonnyMarrs (PSN). Hit me up if anyone wants to have a game! We should get a race going Yeah would be good. I'm KingMarz. Usually on after 10.30pm most nights. I'm not that happy with Forza 6 though... i gave it a couple of hours at the weekend and i dont like the handling with my Thrustmaster TX. Under braking the cars just dont feel right and i don't have that much confidence on the steering. I've got the handling set to simulation though so maybe i need to try it on standard. What do you use? It's not you, it's a game-breaking bug and is why I've stopped playing it. Basically, when using the wheel it turns every car into an oversteery mess, like you're running 165 width tyres on the rear! It doesn't matter if you put it on Sim or Std, it's still broken. You can try changing the diff lock, or camber or toe, or whatever you like: It doesn't matter, every car will still be shocking. Some people have had success by turning the steering lock down on the wheel itself, but it just made it too twitchy for me. Basically, you need to play with a pad, which is ridiculous. However Fallout 4 is out tomorrow and scoring 9s and 10s, so I don't care. Interesting is this a specific issue with the TX wheel as i am not experiencing that with the logitech (mind you that was designed in collaboration with team 10) My issue is more with braking that oversteer. I've learned from previous driving games not to switch off traction control as the cars will be undriveable otherwise. With the braking i feel like the cars should be stopping much more quickly than they do. I'm braking at the 300m boards and still struggling to get round the corners. I feel like i'm only getting 50% of the braking force i should do. Maybe i'll give it a go with the pad then and see if that's any different. On a positive though.... holy sh!t the graphics! I did my first wet race and it was fantastic!! The water beads going up the windscreen, and the reflections of the lights from the pits as i go down the pit straight. Stunning! That said we had a trip to Costco last night and while perusing the tv's, cameras etc she wandered off and when she came back she had a black ops 3 card. She's good like that buying me a game with my own money Anyway installed and started the campaign (after the best part of an hour installing/downloading updates) and feel so underwhelmed with the gameplay and graphics. Feels very last gen with the visuals but that said I've only completed the first mission so fingers crossed. It gives me a feel for the way the game moves and the way the weapons works. That way I don't jump into MP with all the grace of bambi on ice (with an automatic weapon). After watching a mate play it and reading several peoples opinion I certainly won't be buying it. It looks like a total mess and nothing like (or maybe, too much like in some instances) F3, F3NV. Some of the professional reviews I read are saying 'yeah, okay things are a bit buggy, combat is terrible, dialogue sucks but it's a Bethesda game so who doesn't expect those things?' Why is that acceptable? It seems to be the thing at the moment.. AC, Batman etc all releasing sub par games in terms of quality but don't worry because they have £30-£300 worth of DLC for you to buy immediately. Not sure why it seems acceptable for a game to launch with crippling FPS issues, sh1tty AI and a ton of obvious bugs/glitches (characters sinking through the floor for example). Combat is fine (I didn't think I'd like the fact that VATS no longer stops time, but actually it works fine and does make more sense), voice acting from the main character is brilliant to have now, and the whole feel and look of the game is immense. Maybe I'm just being overly harsh but with PC game prices increasing by over 30% in the last year or two I want a relatively bug free game to play. You wouldn't go and watch a blockbuster film and accept the camera man stumbling into a shot so why should AAA game titles be any different. I've seen a few vids where people have had issues, but then Skyrim was apparently broken on release but I never had a single issue there either. Maybe I'm just lucky I'd suggest the vast majority have a good experience with Bethesda games, rather than the minority. bamdc2 Posted November 13, 2015 Share Posted November 13, 2015 Played Fallout 4 for a few hours. Spent most of my time building a settlement! Very addictive game although it is a little buggy, but expected that anyway (similar to Skyrim). Story line and dialogue options outweigh the minor issues and the game creates a brilliant post apocalyptic atmosphere. Cant wait to invest some real time into it. Hopefully the game will be patched soon to iron out the glitches, but if the story and dialogue remain strong then I wont mind too much.
