Ekona Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 BT dongles only work with non-iOS devices. Apple only allow wifi dongles on their ecosystem. Quote

Randy_Baton Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 (edited) I'm having problems getting mine to connect. I've got mini elm one shown below. I've paired it to my android tablet and the connection starts up but has an ODBII protocol error. I've tried dash commander, carista and torque and all have a similar connection issue. Any Ideas? Brummiestormer Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Just had a look on Amazon and it does say some of these are not compatible with Nissan vehicles---dunno if this helps? Quote
Randy_Baton Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 DashCommander has a debug feature, so I was able to send my diagnostics off to the app designers. They said the OBDII reader is toast. They basically said there is a ~20% failure rate on nearly all sub £5 readers they test. Quote
chirag1988 Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 I bought the small OBD reader and it worked fine on my polo, but when connected to the Z it doesn't read the ecu. will try the other recommended one Quote
KUGT4 Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 I got the white elm bt one - works fine in the z Quote
