They are a pair of 350Zs.. whats with the 370 advertising? Is my iPad broken so that I only have 350Z youtube goggles on?

I thought that as well.

There is a 370Z at the start but the last two seem to be both 350's.

Maybe someone's trying to pull a fast one and sell a load of old 350's as the new 370Z to the Arabs! :surrender:

Mystery solved. :D

A pair of Nissan 370Zs have set a new Guinness World Record for the longest ever twin-vehicle drift.

The stunt, held in Dubai at the launch of Nissan's ‘370Z Drift Experience', saw the two V6-engined Z cars drift around a track side by side for a total of 28.52km - 17.7 miles. Not bad, you will agree.

"The Nissan Z is a very popular car in the drifting scene," said Samir Cherfan, MD of Nissan's Middle East division, "and this new record is yet another proof on the ability of this car to make drifting look so easy."

It's a cool record for Nissan to notch up. Want a few more records? The longest vehicle drift was set earlier this year in Turkey, set by Harald Müller who slid for 89.55 miles. The fastest drift? In 2013, Jakub Przygonski went sideways at 135.44mph in Poland.

And the record for the most amount of cars performing donuts simultaneously, set in 2012, stands at 107.

What was the world record? the most water needlessly wasted in the middle east....

:stir:

I've lived out there - they wash the streets every night with huge water bowsers, I don't mind that except they live in a desert - we get hose pipe bans and we live on a little island surrounded by water  - does my head in!

Still doesn't explain why two 350's were being used in the drifting and not 370's. You can see the two in the opening part of the vid and looks to me as though that shot was taken post the drift as you can just see one of the 350's arriving at the finish with its front bumper missing......

Expect they just filled up a returning empty tanker or two and shipped it in - not as though they couldn't afford it
