Keyser Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 OK here is a dilemma for all you guys out there (although the sprinkles are allowed to share their views ) Due to unforeseen changes in circumstances we\I have a spare room in the house about 14' by 10' in old money that could potentially be a man cave - after Ash suggested it tonight (nice one mate ) The problem is what would I do with it if I had it as a Man Cave????? I don't drink so a bar is not a good idea, I don't play playstation or Xbox - well lets say 10 hours of X box in the last year and I have a big living room with a 55" HD TV for when I do, PC wise I sit at mine all day anyway (work from home)and have a 4 screen setup - and rarely play games on it anymore. So can anyone come up with a good suggestion or shall I just let the wife have a sewing room Over to you lot Quote
glrnet Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 You are clearly not a Man Cave Man mate. I suppose you could turn it into a place of worship and sacrifice for all things doughnut though!! 2 Quote
steve916 Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 You need a big screen with a 3D HD Projector, a surround setup, all with home automation lighting, curtains etc í ½í¸€ Quote
GMballistic Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 "Man Cave" Keyser can really be anything you want it to be. If you wanted to it could just be a nice room with a sofa & coffee table so that it's your own free space to relax in on your own or with some friends. Obviously lot's of people put bars in them, gaming systems or pool tables etc. Personally if I had the opportunity to do it I'd probably just plaster the walls with pictures of all my old cars that I've tracked in the past, have some sort of work bench for building models on & a good stereo system in it to listen to the music I like without the Mrs moaning it's too loud. 1 Quote

steve916 Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 ^^^ That top picture just reminded me of something. Anyone seen or heard of Anki Drive? It's an iOS controlled ( iPhone or iPad) scalextric track where the settings for individual cars are held within the phone. Perfect for a man cave Quote

WINKJ Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I think your zed shed is your man cave as cars are your hobbie? Like an Xbox, big tv etc is a man cave persons hobbie. Likewise my man cave is my shed where I keep my harley and tools. . . Big tv in lounge etc so similar set up. I would spend the money on upgrading the zed shed (if it needs it) new tools, benches, images, f1 nose cone on the wall type stuff.... Quote
