Ekona Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Exactly. Shows how useful these polls actually are.
martinmac Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 It could be pretty close. I think it shoyld be no but if its yes I stop paying tax so I wont be too worried.
StevoD Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 It could be pretty close. I think it shoyld be no but if its yes I stop paying tax so I wont be too worried. So how is the scottish govement going to pay for all the public sector then if nobodys paying tax
mouthwash Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Pretty sure numbers will be rounded, so 50% will actually be 49.5% etc.

Neilp Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 I don't think this was supposed to be a discussion thread, best to keep it to a simple yes or no. 5
Martinjj Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 I think Braveheart will be on tv the night before and all the 16/17 year olds who can vote will go ultra patriotic and vote "Yes" thereby giving a marginal victory
LRF4N Posted September 12, 2014 Author Posted September 12, 2014 Kevin bridges joked about them showing braveheart the night before. He was saying they should also show trainspotting to balance it out Iv heard that channel 4 are showing both next week 1
Vik54 Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Been working in Scotland for the last 2 weeks, can't believe the weather , anyway conducted a straw poll at the location I was working at and exactly 50/50 (12 people). Mind you they all agreed they are sick and tired of hearing about it on TV and the radio . Yup think it is going to be extremely close either way
glrnet Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Only a week to go who will win? Not who should win but what will the outcome be? No opinions or why/who/how the other thread is for that. Let's keep this one a bit more light hearted We all know it's gonna be tight but my money is on No Neil is correct, no opinions or discussions, just yes or no please guys
LRF4N Posted September 12, 2014 Author Posted September 12, 2014 There's over 30 pages of debate on the other thread Feel free to get stuck into that one 1
Dblock Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 There's over 30 pages of debate on the other thread Feel free to get stuck into that one Locked and although I am a yes supporters I'm up for answering and taking criticism.
LRF4N Posted September 12, 2014 Author Posted September 12, 2014 Just realised it was locked. Was an interesting debate up until the last couple if pages lol
JetSet Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Just realised it was locked. Was an interesting debate up until the last couple if pages lol A good thing if you ask me. The internet is full of debates like this and they've turned really ugly in the last few days. Pete
Ekona Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 They don't have to. We had 30 pages of fair, reasoned debate.
Dblock Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Can we not have it unlocked. I don't see why it got locked. If people don't want to get upset by it maybe they should just not click on it. The nature of it will be slightly heated. This is the future of Scotland. Our country. But there was no Insults.
glrnet Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Yes or no, or this one will go the same way
Ekona Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 There was mate, that was the problem. It was rightly locked. 1
chubbster Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 I think it'll be a bit of a NO. The problem is that, however it goes, it's probably given all sorts of other English counties the idea. Who will be next, Cornwall, Berkshire, Norfolk, Merseyside?
rtbiscuit Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 No-one would miss Merseyside or newcastle
Grundy Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 No-one would miss Merseyside or newcastle I would
