M3 to TT.....to 350z 🚗

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys

Im Paul, 26 from South london, Purley.

Thought it was about time I introduced myself formally, seeing as i spend a large part of my day reading threads on the forum!

Been a car enthusiast for a little while now, seem to only last a matter of months before i swap my cars over! Much like many of you id imagine!

Owned an E46 M3, which i spent a small fortune in over the course of two years, Supersprint lightweight Race exhaust, and genuine BBS LMs to name my two fav mods.

Decided to part ways as i missed the sleekness of a proper coupe. Decided to go down be economical route, and picked up a 2008 Audi TT tdi. Was pretty nippy, but i massively missed owning a performance car!

Subsequently, the TT lasted a total of 41 days before i picked up my 2007 313 350z.

And here she is...

So far im massively in love, just fighting to not spend any money on mods!

Cheers

Paul

Cheers guys :)

On paper the M3 is quicker and more powerful.

Ive been an active member of M3 cutters for a few years now, and the general feeling on there is that they are quicker.

Persoanlly, i dont care! The 350z just feels more raw to me, and brutal. I feel like the 350 has more character too, even starting it up every morning is an event in itself! Love the sountrack!

Think im going to struggle with keeping her OEM. Im going to get myself some spacers, thinking 25mm alround, and possibly get an Eibach Pro Springs kit to drop her abit. :D

I've nearly had mine a year now and still get that feeling every time I drive her, it always feels like an event. I don't think that feeling will wear off :)

Springs, ARBs and exhaust are a must IMO, completely transforms the car.

Hi Paul, ex- Cutter myself M3 - Cooper S - 350Z

House move forced my hand, went economical, 4 weeks, 1 tank of fuel, 1 wash hated the Cooper with a passion love my Z and yes the turn of the key sounds great, Z has a lot of character and "fun" elements but I do miss my M3, power, SMG gearbox, and those simple things like auto lights.

Only 2nd Jap car out of 70 I have owned, like it a lot, proper rear wheel motor!
