Hi Zedders, at long last I have managed to put this together.

I had wanted a Zedd for about 4 years,so last January it was the big five 0 so mrs Moped said let's get you one of them cars your always going on about .So after looking for a month we purchased an 03 Blade Silver bog standard (which is what I wanted) with 59k on the clock.

So the week after my birthday I collected her.The weather had been really bad with snow etc so I was sweating about as I really didn't want to bring her home in the snow.the snow held for a couple of day so I managed a little Zedd time .

With all this poor weather I didn't start the modding until April, first off I thought Engine bay,I knew what I fancied (purple gotta be purple,) so after a couple of weekends the first stage was complete but as time has gone bye I have changed it and changed it rattle cans are good but good old two pack is a different league for final finish.As time moved on I got a standard rear diffuser but the word standard is not my thing so I set about changing it a little,I made myself a cardboard template and then made a mould for a light a little bit like that on a 370 this was then sprayed up by myself red Perspex fitted along with light I got it all wired up and fitted just in time for our first big Zedd meet Lakezed.

Your Zed looked ace at teh recent Salisbury meet and was great talking to you especially the engine bay which looks epic and the rear zed light is a great little touch and totally unique to your zed

 

Out of curiousty what do you mean by ' good old two pack is a different league for final finish ' What products did you use?

 

Cannot wait to see what else you have lined up.

Only got through a little had to pop out.Obviously not to everyone's taste so play nice because I Go to a lot of meets and you can save negativity until then

After lake Zedd I got hold of these wheels inovit vortex, I like them so that's all that counts in my book.

I got the centre consol all out and colour coded it to the outside of the car which again is a little different,this will come out again this year for airbrush work.i then set about the rear strut again colour coded but I cut out the 6 nissan squares bonded in red Perspex and then used red LEDs to back light it.Why I was at this I did the door kick plates the same.

So how can you tell that a car is ruined from one picture of it covered in snow a diffuser and an engine bay and not a picture of the car so so funny.

As I said I changed the bay and here is how it looks now.

I was going to suggest maybe you buy some of those carbon fibre bonnet lifters Mopedmark but just noticed it look's like you've had your bonnet stay chromed. That's a nice detail.

I also nickel plated the bonnet catch and bonnet strut,I also made some covers for the bottles, these were out of purple Perspex,this also combined with the front cooling panel all to match again these will be available soon to all good Zedders

I like what you've done with the purple - silver gradient on the engine cover, not seen that before

So after fitting 20 inch wheels I felt the car was sitting high so I decided contact good old Tarmac Sportz for some side steps.also picked up a stubby aerial as well.

I colour coded the side steps again painting myself, the result worked a it made the look from the side to be better and not looking to tall.

Thanks for all the comments guys there's loads more to come this year and hopefully a complete new engine bay for this year with a Very special theme to it.

Some good work there, but the home made bike rack isn't up to the standard of the rest of your work! 😄
