I came across this pic on instagram and I have never seen one before, not sure if its photoshop but either way looks pretty sweet.

Hope the pic comes out alright, I had to shrink it.

It's something I've seen the yanks do a few times. Not sure how a Zed Targa would handle in the twisty's though :scare:

Be interesting to see how the roof attaches and where you would store the roof if you took it off while you were out. UK weather would love to ruin a nice day out with the roof off!!

If any of you guys fancy doing this I have a Stihl saw disc cutter in my garage. I will draw the lines for you and start the saw but you will have to sign a disclaimer and do the cutting yourself

I quite like it, but there would need to be some serious strengthening going on or it would surely twist a bit when pushing it.

+1 but IMO its still 1000000000x better than the roadster with the roof up. Probably the most ugly thing evar!

I had thought about doing this a while back until someone mentioned how weak it would be. Supposedly roadster chassis is different?

Too much work, but does look way better. Car companies dont realise hard tops etc will sell better than that fabric MG look they done with convertible.

my second thought, after "why?" - suppose the climate is better over there - no more misting with the roof off!
