14N Posted January 2, 2014 Author Posted January 2, 2014 Can you get them for the 370? I'm not sure, leave it with me. Quote
WhackyWill Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Hi Ian. Mine turned up this morning, great service, they look superb, cant wait until the weekend to fit them.. 1 Quote
KyleR Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Got mine too, if it's not too cold I might stick them on later. I'm pretty sure these are the exact same as the circuit sports ones, they have the same orange sticker. 1 Quote

OllyB Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 (edited) About half hour, once I'd worked out which left was left.... Edited January 3, 2014 by OllyB Quote
WhackyWill Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 About half hour, onced I'd worked out which left was left.... Thanks Olly, There is a fitting guide on here, I believe from the front of the car you reverse the left and right so on your left you will fit the right damper...is that right ?. Quote
OllyB Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Yea that's about right, er left, no right. 1 Quote

GMballistic Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Hi Ian, received my lifters today. Thanks for those as they where a doddle to fit, look great and also came with an allen key to add to my collection. Great service mate. 1 Quote

I got lucky as I did think it was going to start raining at any second. Fitting doesn't take long though, although I spent a little longer doing it as OCD took over and I started cleaning bits that you can't even see when all the parts are back together. So happy to get that darn bonnet stay off. Quote

chirag1988 Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Well I'm home from work now - weather forecast says clear tonight but heavy rain tomorrow! I'm tempted to get the work lamp out and do it now while the weather's clear...hmm what to do...? Quote
14N Posted January 4, 2014 Author Posted January 4, 2014 No brainer Chirag. Assemble the dampers indoors first then get the lamp and socket set out. You'll have 'em fitted before your mug of tea goes cold. Quote

Have you seen the "how to fit" guide in the guides section? That will show you just how easy it is. Quote

I think I'm gonna do it! Quote
GMballistic Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 ^^ Any problems just ask on here but I'm 99.9% positive you will have no problem doing this what so ever. Quote
ZEUS Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Just don't drop anything or you will never find it in the dark Quote
chirag1988 Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Just don't drop anything or you will never find it in the dark That's exactly what I was worried about! And in fact I almost lost one of the small clips when I tried pulling it out and it just popped out. Luckily it landed on the cover itself. To top it off - Sod's Law strikes! It started drizzling as soon as I opened the bonnet, but it was only a bit of drizzle and I powered through. A short while later...VOILA!! Thanks Ian for a simple but effective mod! 1 Quote
