Binkeygooner
Hi there Everyone, My name`s Andy, just joined your website, Had my Zed for about a year now, Do i have to upgrade to upload photo`s as i`ve only 2MB of space and would love to show you my baby, i`m upgrading my exhaust system as we speak, at the back i`ve fitted a japspeed Y pipe connected to a Cobta mid section and Berk Hi Flow Cats, they all fitted together no problem, AND THE SOUND !!! WOW !!!, it sounded lovely with just the Japspeed Y pipe but as soon as i fitted the Berk HFC`s you get an amazing bark at about 3500 RPM, i`ve got a Hi performance exhaust manifold to fit but there a real bugger to fit, ( you have to raise the engine to replace them ) and remove all the coolant pipes, since i`m starting to bling my engine bay i`m replacing them with all new blue silicone pipes so i`ll do that all in one go. i`ve fitted a K&N Typhoon induction system which in hindsight i think was a mistake so i`d like some advice on the best one to fit please. i`m also want to fit a Kinetix inlet manifold as they look amazing and increase air capacity as well as balance air flow to all pots, but i`d like to ask if anyone knows if i can buy them from an English distributer as the postage and import dutys from America are astronomical. after all that i`ll get it re-mapped but i`ve been warned to be careful of where i get this done as your need a specialist with a roling road to get the best results. i live in the southwest ( Torquay ) so somewhere close would be good. Eventually i`m looking to fit a Velocity SC so don`t want to spend loads now just to have to take it off later (i.e. Kinetix inlet manifold) and i`d be grateful of any other advice you could give. Thanks, Andy Edited December 15, 2013 by Binkeygooner

GMballistic
Welcome aboard Andy. Sound's like you've got Zeditus pretty bad then like a lot of users on here. Lot's of places you can go for a re-map but highly recommended on here from what I've read are places like; Abbey Motorsport & TDi North. There are others though that may be closer so try the search button to see if you get more results closer to home. There's also a whole section for 350Z modifying so you may find more of your questions already answered in here;http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/21-350z-modifications/

Lacky
Welcome to the forum. Like you, when I first got my zed I fitted Berk HFC, cobra Y-pipe and a japspeed k1. Sounds brilliant! From what I've heard, The best air filter is the standard airbox ('06) with a high flow panel filter. I was also looking at the kinetix plenums, although the look the nuts, they will loose power. They have been proven on dyno to be @*!#. Best of just getting a plenum spacer.

Lacky
Some after market strut braces are weaker than OEM. So just watch out on that one. You could get some spacers for the strut to lift it up.
Binkeygooner
What about the Cusco strut brace, has anyone got them and if so do they improve the handling at all ?

Dblock
Thanks for the welcome guys,There`s nothing in the front windows, just a reflection,Gutted about the Kinetix Inlet Manifold as they look Amazing, i,m also getting a Cusco Strut Brace so could i get away with a 1/2" inch Plenum Spacer or just a 3/8" ?, It depends on which kinetx plenum you mean. The one that looks like standard with a built in spacer or the one with the 6 pipes? I'm pretty sure neither of them lose you power. The cosworth loses power unless 'charged. Binkeygooner
Now i`m really confused !!!, i was looking at the one with the 6 pipes, from there blurb they announce bigger air volume ( as with a plenum spacer ) and more even air inlet balance to each pot.
