i did it on the jag and it sets it off nicely, i didn't go with limo stint as i had tried it in a mates car and hated it, mine is dark smoke and actually visibility isn't bad. mines not black so limo would have looked out of place on it.

Tints can look great, depends on the colour of the car and the strength of the tint, had a few cars tinted in the past and generally find darker tints work better with darker coloured cars, although there's always exceptions..

Black Z's with tints always look good! :teeth: although would still never go for limo tint as not practical at all..

Oh dear, thats done it, gotta do it now, more money gone :blackeye:

I think i read somewhere the legal fronts is 70%, are the Zeds fronts already tinted though?

I reckon going 35% on the back?

Pretty much anything on the front sides are illegal, front windscreen is a complete no-go.

Rear windows you can have as dark as you like

Remember that the % quoted is the percentage of light allowed through. I'm sure the Zed as standard is pretty close to the legal limit. Anything behind the B pillar is fair game.

I think tinta are pretty cool unless you go too dark with them ..

I've had tints on all my cars except the Zed .... probably because I WANT to be seen in it .. LoL

I'm tempted to get the rear quarters done in a light smoke though ..

If the Zed already has a tint on the windows, then by tinting the back wont it make those tints already on the front appear somewhat darker? If you went say 35% at the back?

Yep, good way of doing it, best of both worlds- keeps it legit and looks better

Not sure how tinting just the quarters would look. Think they might be too small? On mine it's just the quarters with a heavy tint and the fronts much lighter but the rear quarters are much bigger than the zed

Thinking of having some tints put on and as I'm visiting Stratford-upon-Avon on Wednesday, was wondering if there was anywhere close by I could visit to have a look (and if said company was any good)

thanks
