  1. Silver 350z, usually parked on the main coast drive or just off it. Seen you around a couple of times, assume you'll be an ex.pat with the Irish plates?
  2. Sightings are few and far between, only the 3rd 350z iv'e seen in Malta in best part of 2 years. On the main road, near Swieqi, heading towards the coast road..
  3. One of the best car shoes in the world bar none for true petrol heads, such a wide variety of cars and bikes from all styles and era's and a lot of them racing, in action... (one of the few times that the older vehicles will actually be "driven") IMO not worth paying the extra for the grandstand, although get there early as there's so much to see!
  4. Tints can look great, depends on the colour of the car and the strength of the tint, had a few cars tinted in the past and generally find darker tints work better with darker coloured cars, although there's always exceptions.. Black Z's with tints always look good! although would still never go for limo tint as not practical at all..
  5. Lol V8 on the dyno sounds lovely though

  7. Hi Folks, be surprised if this hasn't been previously posted, but did do a couple of searches and couldn't find anything.. Interesting stateside project with a Nissan 5.6 V8 from the Titan "full size" pickup truck.. Full article here: http://my350z.com/forum/engine-and-drivetrain/498038-my-vk56-swapped-350z.html Does anyone have any ideas how feasable this "strawberry" front end conversion would be, i assume a shed load of work?! Also looks like it could do with a bit further refinement.
  8. Welcome.. from someone who used to be in Epsom! BTW nice Zed and the best colour!
  9. Hi all, finally got my arse in gear and took some pictures of the Zed, unfortunately i didn't clean it and the pictures were on a crappy camera phone, so there's plenty of room for improvement! Have tried to get the UK -> Malta road trip off of my other camera phone, but not had any joy as yet! Got some alright ones from Lake Como and the Amalfi coast, but can't bloody get them off the stupid thing! HTC Magic's are not great! Anyway, pics taken around the Grand Harbour in 3 cities and Valetta, enjoy!
  10. Hey folks, thanks for the feedback, looks like there's unlikely to be a simple (quick win) solution... no other option than to move house i guess!
  11. Hi there folks, bit of a strange one, but tried doing a search to try to find some answers, but had no joy. I was wondering if anyone knows the approximate gap from the top of the exhaust (mid section) to the bottom of the floor pan? I believe the exhaust is standard apart from a k1 back box/section. The reason i ask is that my car parking space is in a basement that requires me to drive down a relatively steep ramp... unfortunately this means that i just catch the heat shield on the "apex" of the ramp everytime i take my car in and out What i'm thinking is, would it be possible to get the exhaust mounts modified slightly to make the exhaust sit a little higher? It would only need to get raised by 1-2 inches max and would (in theory) sort out the issue.. unless i got a fatty in the car! Thanks in advance
  12. Hey folks, just as a little update to this, came back a week ago and manged to find a nice 350z with the right spec... drove it back over the weekend/Monday and now safely tucked away in my garage! Was a pretty epic drive (1,800 miles -8 countries total) through some pretty amazing scenery.. photo's to follow in due course
  13. How much would you be looking to sell it for as is and demodded? When abouts would you want to sell it?
  14. Thanks for all the feedback guys, i feel very welcomed! that black roadster does look rather nice although its unfortunately a little bit out of my budget, i'm only allowing myself to go up to £9k... They're pretty few 350 zeds over here, think i've seen about 3 in the last 18 months, although people tend to have their weekend cars that they only tend to bring out on special occasions so there's likely to be more. The problem is that its so expensive to register and then tax your car in Malta and the roads are so poo, most people are put off. Will be pretty careful with the purchase, im a true petrol head and have had a fair few cars previously, so kind of know what to look out for (although unless you have hours to go over a car, there's always an element of risk). The last thing i'd want, is to end up breaking down en-route somewhere in Italy... Will
  15. Hello all, First off, great site you have here, lots of good information and genuine enthusiasts! Thought i'd introduce myself and see if anyone knows of any black Z's going around the Surrey/London area (ish), (really after a black one if i can find it) i can see there appears to be plenty of Zed addicts around my home town area - Epsom/Sutton which is good to see! I'll be coming back to the UK in about a week and am looking to buy a Z over a few days... then go for a pretty awesome road trip all the way back to Malta. I'm going to be on a pretty tight schedule (3 days to find a good un before heading off) so just putting some feeds out there.. and yes, will make sure i take plenty of pictures on the route.. Thanks in advance!
