I'm planning on: Wheel refurb Repair two tiny dents and touch up one scratch on the bonnet Either repaint my standard front bumper or buy an N2 Berks Miltek Uprev. brillomaster Posted January 4, 2012 Share Posted January 4, 2012 hmmm, quite a few plans so far, and i dont even have a zed yet! Jan and Feb - save another £700, to bring my total to £3800 in savings. March - Sell my Civic, for hopefully £2200 (I paid £2350 for it in July of last year) borrow a further £2000 off my dad, which gives me £8000 for a zed and the insurance increase (prob about £200 extra for the 6 months remaining this year) And then im already planning a big roadtrip with my dad for May - Scotland and back in 6 days, Via Ben Nevis and Scafell Pike total of 970 miles of driving. Other than that, hoping to do some drift days with mazda on track, but they havent updated their calendar for 2012 yet so not sure when exactly. SparksCW Posted January 4, 2012 Share Posted January 4, 2012 My zed is currently in the workshop having a minor repair to something I damaged last year but at same time having an N1 rear spoiler fitted, front bumper centre section sprayed black, door handles sprayed black, wheels stripped, refurbed and painted black, the whole car is being mopped to remove swirls etc, also having a rear sensor kit sprayed and fitted and I now have a car phone cradle to install so hoping to get my phone hooked up also. And maybe a stubby aerial! As for driving well the obligatory Goodwood breakfast club throughout the summer and definetly another trip away with the girlfriend, had such a good time in Cornwall last year. SteveW Posted January 4, 2012 Share Posted January 4, 2012 Well this year modification plans are: 1) Eibach anti roll bars 2) Set of spare wheels for my slicks 3) Get Amuse front and sides fittes 3) Convert K1 into a true dual and make it a bit quieter so i can run unhinged - love the look of the cans. 4) Berks HFC's 5) Remap my UpRev 6) Chargespeed Rear Trackdays Oulton in April The Ring in May All at the same time saving up to buy a house!!! Fitted jwt pop charger last week (Love it) Back to rs for changes to uprev. Possible wheel re furb as the polished lip is now pitted from one trip out over christmas. Front bumper re sprayed. Fit cookbooks mirror mod 4. Fit sound system 5. Fit dlr lights to bumper 6. Repair front skirt, side skirts 7. Up rev mapped, oplenum spacer 8. Window tints 9. Full wrap Well that's a good start!
