  1. its now bristol street motors... and just over a ton for a p1, a p3 is 220ish if memory serves
  2. i'm off to Denmark in mine next week.... thats France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark all sorted then. Theres a few of us going from the UK so set up a google+ thing so we can track each other for the full "Top Gear Race" thing.... should be a hoot
  3. i like to call my colour E.L James...
  4. arguably he could join most of the Jap ones ..
  5. actually i quite like it ... with a bit of work, some polish and a few tweaks it could be stunning . oh wait a sec i've been sniffing glue...
  6. on the boot lid, either side are 2 rubber coated spring stoppers ... give these half a turn to pop them out... spray some silicone in the lil hole at the top...replace and enjoy the silence..
  7. .....i'm going..... With the VXR owners club ....
  8. Ok heres the story... I'm getting a "squeal" from the rear passenger side under heavy acceleration and what appears to be a pronounced "judder" from the same wheel under hard braking at speed. I've already changed the Pads, bedded them in, greased shims etc but am now at the end of my mechanical knowledge to be able to diagnose the problem. I don't want to fork out for new parts until i'm fairly confident what the problem is. Is there anyone in the Sheffield area [specifically near Meadow Hall] thats a bit mechanically minded that wouldnt mind a quick PAX ride out and diagnose later today [sunday]? Ta in advance
  9. apologies going to have to pull out -- other RL commitments have cropped up
  10. cheers .. wheels off on saturday then
  11. Ok so i'm firing this around to pick brains before i ineptly dismantle the rear wheels on the z. Symptoms.. 1) Braking from anything over 45Mph and there is a noticible "juddering" from what appears to be the rear passenger side of the car. 2) The juddering is not coming through the steering. 3) Handling doesnt appear to be affected at all [but i drive like grandma anyways] 4) Under hard acceleration from 30Mph there is a small metalic Squeal that can be heard in the cabin. thoughts... wheel hub or knackered brake disk?
  12. nice pics.. looks like fun. was a little dissappointed with the thread title though ... was expecting something a little "fruitier", i may be spending too much time smurfing the web ...
  13. actually ...looking at that photo again the drivers side side skirt looks to be a cracking fit
