  1. Anything planned for this year? I've just got bought another Z after a fair few years away, and as I'm fairly local (Lleyn Peninsula) I wouldn't mind a drive out with the Z gang again.
  2. Hi it's still white as in the pics Thanks for fielding the other question Ian fit really is quite good, as can be seen from the photos, but you can always try it on the back of your Zed when you pick it up
  3. Hi guys and gals - here is my Giacuzzo style rear spoiler as bought from a member here last year. I have since sold the 350, so this spoiler is up for sale. The fit looked pretty good on my Ginger, with only minimal work required to this fibreglass item before bonding on. I guess you could also bolt on through from the inside. Sorry only one pic has the date on, as I originally tried to sell the spoiler on eBay but got fed up with lack-wits and fumble-keys. Hope that's ok I'm in south warwickshire, and the price is £60 with no delivery possible - pickup only please cheers!
  4. Welcome along mate - I PM'ed you about me and the midlands crew - great guys. Don't miss out on Wales or "Lakez" meets either! Cheers, Andy
  5. Autorotation Dump the throttle and pull as much pitch as you can, then bleed it off like a madman in the last foot or so. Obviously a little easier to do with my Raptor 60 than in a full size, but same principle. Well done airmen, we salute you!
  6. I've done the Lancaster taxi ride with Dad in September at East Kirkby You should be inside one when the capt. fire-walls the throttles I'm sure some sex-wee came out. Just Jane is now running with 4 decent engines, but they have 4 spare crated ones that are airworthy, ready to go in. Last one reconditioned at a cost of £86,000 A service of all 96 spark plugs cost something like £7,000
  7. Last time I saw a Mossie flying was at Wroughton a fair few years ago. Yes a shame about the Vulcan, but a second flying Lanc (in the UK) is now only a couple of years away...
  8. Just turning into work this morning to see aforementioned 350Z coming up to the A46 roundabout. Exhaust sounded nice - quite a wide kit you've got on there fella! I was in the X-Trail so didn't flash
  9. You'd be surprised. I think it's John Deere who hold the patent for spinning a turbine-generator in the exhaust gas flow from a turbo-diesel engine to charge a lithium-ion power pack that powers a 3-phase (i.e. brushless) supercharger. The old boy helped them write the patents and designed some of the control circuitry iirc.
  10. The town I live in isn't even on their map app now? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-19659736 Fail. As always waiting for Google to do it right for them!
  11. I saw a TT in Monmouth two weeks ago in the ginger colour too Was sat in the campervan at Waitrose at the time, so at least I had a crapper nearby to be sick in
  12. Meh not enough new in it to draw me in again, they are definitely playing catch up now. Had enough of my iphone 4, will definitely be going Samsung come December.
  13. hmmm.....don't want a Scorpion do you?
  14. hmmm good point, will try and remember to check the pressure cold tomorrow a.m. then there is a pump somewhere at home!
  15. Yes the detour will be check my pressures, as I have no pump or gauge in the car or at work. Detour to the garage on the way home
  16. road legal that car too! I've made a mess in my trousers
  17. Nice link for the comparison, thanks
  18. that's the sort of thing I should have thought of when driving in, instead of pooing a brick wondering which banana-drop-trailing-bush-bar-link had fallen off Damnit, ah well will give me a nice detour on the way home
  19. Hi guys and gals, Ginger hasn't been driven for about a week, and seeing as its Friday and sunny it's obviously drive the beastie to work day. BUT! steering now feels odd (not sure if it's because I've been driving the X-Trail for 2 weeks) - turning left seems good, turning right seems stiffer and perhaps might be pulling slightly right? I've done a quick visual check in the car park at work, and all seems ok - I haven't checked the tyre pressures, but the tyres "look" the same as far as I can tell. I guess that would be my first stop really, check pressures then go from there, unless anyone knows of anything that might get stiff in one direction after it's been left un-driven for 7 days?
  20. yes I think she could do with a polish and a wax! Sat underneath my monitor now at work..I don't play with it on my desk pretending I'm driving, honest
  21. The gaffer found this in the play ground last night when he was there with his kid - picked it up and brought it in for me today
  22. A "harvest moon" at the moment of course
  23. Hailstones?! Poor Zed ..first dibs on the LED rears?
  24. Welcome Nice car, other than the fog lights they look orrible!
