Flex Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 Gonna miss download this year and in turn miss a band worth watching/listening to. Not to everyone's taste but...like I care! We're missing it too, hopefully next year. Loved it last year! Just got Alice Cooper, Trash & Hey Stoopid, lost the CD's but now on my amazon account backed up forever! Quote
sipar69 Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 (edited) I'd like to make a plug for this guy - Jackson C Frank. Discovered his music by accident. Only made one record in the late 60s and I think it's one of the most beautiful albums I've ever heard. He apparently influenced a lot of artists including Paul Simon and Nick Drake. Really tragic and interesting life story too -.definitely worth a Google! Edited April 11, 2013 by sipar69 Quote
Flex Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 Purple rain tonight sounded epic in the zed. Used to hate Prince but now I'm all over him Quote
