Barnesy Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 Hi all im Neil from Peterborough. Im 30 and a Potato Agronomist. I live with the mrs and 2 young sons and have another baby due in August. That will be the last one lol. I'm currently looking to buy a Z. Id expect to have one in the next couple of weeks. I just sold my pride and joy, a 400bhp Skyline but it was time for something a bit more sensible. I've searched the forum but I cant find an answer to my main question. Can the Nismo kit be fitted aftermarket? And if so, by who and at what price? (im talking engine, wheels and exhaust, not fussed on that rear spoiler. Look forward to speaking with you all in the near future. Quote
Vik54 Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 Welcome to the forum Mr Potato Agronomist Yes the Nismo kit can be fitted anytime - if you have the cash to buy it - not sure what Nismo mods there are for the engine other than CAI and basic bling though Quote
IanS16 Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 to the club Yep, the nismo kit can be added after and I may be wrong but i think there is only one official nismo Zed in the UK. Quote
narcotix Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 to the forum ... I know the wheels and exhaust shoudn't be any problem ... I'm sure someone will be along to answer your other questions shortly .. Quote
Barnesy Posted April 8, 2010 Author Posted April 8, 2010 WOW fast replies. Thanks guys. Yeah bvy Nismo im basically talking wheels, them snazzy air filters and exhaust if there is one. A local dealer is selling a "Nismo" at the moment but they want 18k and I'm looking to spend around 12. We'll see though the longer it sits there the more likely I am to buy it lol. Quote
Stew Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 Welcome along. The kit (either genuine or replica) can be purchased seperatly. The wheels and exhaust will mash you these days though.... The price is mental. The nismo filter was discontinued for the pre MY07 cars however I think Adam@Z1 can still get them. Quote
ATTAK Z Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I wonder if you know Eddie Jordan or one of the other commentators on Formula 1 lol Quote
bronzee Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Welcome to the forum Neil. Happy Zed hunting. Quote
Dene8 Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 to the forum Just concentrate on finding a zed in good condition with low miles and have all the bits and bobs fitted as you go along...... Quote
