dt350z Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 hi all going to pick up my z up at 5 tonight really looking forward to it. just in time for a nice long weekend with the new car and the wife. just a question here whats the right fuel to use. dan. Quote
introspect Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 Hi and I always use Shell V-Power but I think any of the higher octane 'super unleaded' fuel's will be fine Quote
dt350z Posted April 1, 2010 Author Posted April 1, 2010 so standard unleaded is a no no then dan Quote
Andy Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 to the forum. Nissan recommend that you use the higher octane fuel rather than the normal unleaded Quote
introspect Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 I don't think it would do any harm, but I think you'd have a slight loss of power and loose a few mpg so it's a bit of a false economy really. Stick to the good stuff and you'll be fine Quote
narcotix Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 Hi and to the club! I normally use either Tesco 99 ron or Sainsburys Super Unleaded ... Occasionally I do fill the Zed up with reguar unleaded ... I don't think it does any damage but you'll probably notice performance decrease slightly ... Quote
Vik54 Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 Welcome to the face ache club V-Power's a bit scarce at the moment but Tesco 99ron is fine Quote
