Your "to do" list?

We have this on another forum I am on, it's nice to see progress on cars and helps you keep track with what mods etc you are doing :)

 

My current to do list for this month is:

1.) Install Alpine double din ipod headunit (http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/alpine- ... l26fehjaj4)

2.) Refurb Z badges front and back

3.) P3 service + MOT

4.) Redstuff pads and EBC ultimax discs all round to be fitted

5.) Wheels laser aligned and new weights fitted

6.) Dent removal for drivers door dinks

7.) Car goes for detailing on 30th

8.) Enjoy Silverstone on the 31st with pristine zed B)

 

Very expensive month for me, but should tide me over..for now :D

Some new spark plugs

May be an exhaust

Wash and wax

Spend some time looking at used Z's and dreaming :snack:

Looking up some insurance quotes and dreaming abit more

More browsing and dreaming thinking this will make my 4 years no claims come round quicker. :blush::lol:

my list is over a long period of time

 

1. fit new tax disc holder

2. change all headlight bulbs to new whiter ones.

3. sort out clicking axle

4. make new brackets to fit SATNAV it to new cubby

5. fit new cubby

6. get measured up and sized up for likwid art logos

7. sand down repair and modify nismo kit thats sat in the garage.

8. take said body kit to painters

9. fit said body kit.

10. P3 service come november

11. new tyres due end of the year

12. hopefully get new double din headunit to go with new pioneer satnav.

13. carbon cooling plate

14. remove and polish plenum and fit plenum spacer or get a kinetix plenum instead

 

long long term

 

exhaust - don't know yet?

brake pads and discs for EBC ultimax discs and ferodo ds2500 pads, SS braided brake lines

oil catch can

long long long long term

 

lower it - preferably a full suspension set

new wheels

First install the twin carrot setup then:

 

1. Raise suspension slightly

2. Get wheels weighted & aligned

3. K1 type Exhaust

4. New amp for Subwoofer

5. New rear speakers

6. Remap (if RS Tunings stuff works)

7. Seats done in leather

8. Alacantara interior (still not sure if I like this yet)

9. Twin Turbo (not happening for at least 3 years though)

1.) Take Zed to the body shop on 25th May for some much needed NISMO love!

2.) De-badge Car

3.) Fit Induction Kit

4.) Have Custom Exhaust Fitted

5.) Arrive at Silverstone!

 

Very expensive month for me but well worth it!! :thumbs:

Well i ticked one off my to do list today with the fitting of my K1 Exhauts.....

 

Tomorrow my car is going into the body shop for a complete front bumper spray

Next week i have a Kinetix V+ plenum coming

Thats all about i can afford at the mo.....O and a good clean and a wax

My current list for the next few months:

 

1. P1 service tomorrow

2. Fit popcharger

3. Fit rear strut cover

4. Fit nismo gear knob

5. Buy and fit carbon b pillars

6. Buy and fit red leather shift boot

7. Take Amuse rear valance to paint and fit

8. New badges

9. Sort out new headunit

10. Sell audiobahn subs and alpine amps

11. Replace sold subs and amps

12. Somehow try and repair damage to Varis CF front lip

13. Fix crack on bottom of front bumper

14. K1 exhaust

 

Think that's all for now.

no details at all, maybe a dyno chart, maybe :p I'm a very private person :sorry:

1 - Get car back

2 - Finish bodywork on car

3 - MOT

4 - Tax

5 - Paint the car

6 - Fit the wrld supply of cool Z parts to my car

7 - Enjoy it for the first time in 16 months

 

That's about it but a pretty cool month none the less! :blush:

Fingers crossed i can get all my stuff from Adam to install them in time.

Too late to make it for Wales now :blush:

 

Fit before 22/05:

1- 2 piece rotors and ferodo pads all round

2- coilover or sportline springs and ARBs

3- TD exhaust or decat and y-pipe only

 

Then i leave for a two weeks hoon to Europe including an extensive visit to the RING :yahoo: ..and the CL Final in Rome if i can get a ticket:yahoo:

Items completed in last 75 days :thumbs:

 

Bought car

Had front lights changed from lhd to rhd

Rear fog light changed to right side

Car mot’d

Car registered in UK

Number plates fitted

Had front lights changed back from rhd to lhd

Changed engine oil and filter

Changed spark plugs

Changed air filter

All belts changed

Auto gearbox oil changed

Right side high beam bulb changed

Air con regassed

4 winter tyres removed

4 new Michelin Sport tyres fitted and balanced

Tinted all windows except front screen

Alpine X305 head unit fitted

Parrot Bluetooth fitted for phone and Ipod

New front EBC discs fitted

New front EBC yellow pads fitted

Changed Nissan badges for chrome Z badges front and rear

Removed 350Z badge on rear

Changed oil and filter after 3,000 for fully synthetic oil

 

Items left to do :wacko:

 

New rear EBC discs fitted

New rear EBC yellow pads fitted

Fit new chrome large Z badge on front

Fit new Tommy K rear badge

Change oil/volt/trip guages for metric readout

Refurbish wheels in either silver or black colour

Change Nissan wheel inserts

Try and sort out smelly air con problem

Fit new Extreme Brilliance high beam bulbs

 

I think that's all for the moment :surrender:

 

And of course wash Z every week

Wax Z every other month
