JLewton Posted June 10, 2021 Posted June 10, 2021 Hi guys, Ā Iāve been on the forum for a while. Only replied a few times, couple of posts, but nothing of note.Ā Ā Thought it best to introduce myself properly at long last.Ā Ā Had the 350z for 4 years now. Bought it standard and reasonably well looked after. Itās my daily and I do enjoy the fact that itās also a labour of love.Ā We have seen some changes during the ownership. Cobra high flow cats, full scorpion exhaust, lightweight flywheel and twin plate clutch, jwt popcharger, hksĀ intake tube, uprev courtesy of the chaps at Horsham (Great guys),Ā some 19ā 370z alloys and a mk1 Nismo kit. Among other things... Ā Some of the stuff Iāve luckily picked up off of here, so thank you to the members that have helped me along the way.Ā Ā In the Berkshire area so will be glad to attend some events and meet some other owners in the future.Ā Ā Sadly had to miss out on Ace this year as the car was getting a little more of that love, didnāt fancy arrivingĀ in the courtesy Ford Mondeo estate.Ā Ā Anyway, thank you to everyone thatās helped me out and I look forward to helping out and seeing some of you in the future.Ā Ā Ā Ā 5 Quote

Andy_Muxlow Posted June 10, 2021 Posted June 10, 2021 Hi and officially welcome to the club. Nice looking car, the 370z rays do look great on a 350z. But then again I am bias as I have some on mine from my old 370zĀ Quote
Loadmaster Posted June 10, 2021 Posted June 10, 2021 Welcome along, great looking Z. Ā The meeting at the Ace was, well, Ace! Get along next year... Quote
HEADPHONES Posted June 10, 2021 Posted June 10, 2021 Very well sorted zed you have now. Can't believe you've not posted this thread earlier. Quote
JLewton Posted June 12, 2021 Author Posted June 12, 2021 Thanks for the kind replies. Ā Iāll be sure to try and get to some of the organised meets around Berkshire or Surrey.Ā Ā Andy, I agree with you. I was about to book a refurb of the originals when those alloys came up, took a chance on it and I couldnāt be more pleased. Makes such a difference.Ā Ā Thanks again all.Ā Ā Jon.Ā 1 Quote
JLewton Posted September 10, 2022 Author Posted September 10, 2022 Been a while since I visited the forum, but seeing as it is likely the end of the 350z journey, thought I would update.Ā Ā After suffering a misfire coming home from work, it looks like she has a valve or ring related issue on one of the cylinders. Low compression has been found.Ā I was lucky enough to use the car as my daily, but this has left me a little exposed with getting to and from work. I donāt think I have the time or money on my side to rectify the issue, although exploring all avenues at the moment as it would be a difficult choice to part with it, but itās certainly on the cards if I canāt secure alternative transport.Ā Ā Was certainly a lot of fun and no regrets! 1 Quote
