14N Posted October 29, 2018 Author Posted October 29, 2018 I really like the shadow chrome and they had a ‘dark shadow chrome’ example wheel on display. It was a colour I considered. Mine cost £150 all in. They had my car 3 days and even fitted my spacers for me while they had it. Quote

But I'll need to remove the tyres and balance them after free for removal but £10 for fitting and balance each. 1 Quote
Justthejedi Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 You're right, found a powder coating company local to me, quoted £176 all in. A lot cheaper than a mobile wheel specialist. 1 Quote
14N Posted November 6, 2018 Author Posted November 6, 2018 Just a couple of pics from this weekend’s activities. The roof, number plate recess and rear diffuser part have been wrapped in gloss black. (Thanks Dave for the 2nd pic from the Midlands meet) 6 1 Quote
14N Posted November 12, 2018 Author Posted November 12, 2018 Had a drive out to ‘Caffeine & Machine’ near Stratford-upon-Anon at the weekend. Definitely worth a visit and I imagine it’ll become very busy and popular come Spring/Summer. Wensite http://caffeineandmachine.com/ Interesting sign when leaving 3 Quote
ianhoughton Posted November 12, 2018 Posted November 12, 2018 I'm going to head over there in the next couple of weekends . Plenty of nice cars to see? What was the food like? 1 Quote

Talking to folk that had been before, they said you do get a steady stream of people (and vehicles) arriving and departing throughout a day. There was still a nice variety there (the owner has a few 911’s and that Beetle is his and normally parked in the house - literally The bar area was busy and took a while to get served, but the food was great. It’s not a huge menu (burgers etc) but it’s nice stuff. That’s just based on my one visit. I can see it becoming very popular but space may become an issue with its growing success. 2 Quote
