I'm no "professional" but it looks decent enough for the money. ;)

States that it has had the cam cover gaskets fixed, new clutch & flywheel so that lot won't have been cheap to do which is a great selling point.

MOT history shows a lot of advisories in the past but I'd have thought most of them have been dealt with by now: https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/

Some decent enough mods done as well like the exhaust, brake discs, aftermarket headunit & more. I'd say take it for a test drive to see how it drives, check all the service history/paper work & if all looks good then I can't see why you wouldn't want to buy it.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

Thanks for your replies. Will this exhaunt be loud and drone at cruising speeds?

If I wanted to resort back to a twin exhaust how easy would this be? What kind of cost are we looking at?

I presume I could offset it somewhat by selling the exhaust currently on it?

With a single exit exhaust that's let's say gunna wake your neighbours lol

Car looks good tho for the money I guess it would all be about the test drive.

i'd say it's a very good price for what you're getting.

My thoughts too, whoever traded that in part-ex must have been robbed if they are able to sell it on at that price and presumably make a profit!

nah not an ex members car... no way they'd have got away with a standard aerial for so long!

Not even the 380 survived that onslaught unscathed!

What is that extra little switch next to the gearstick for?

That switch is to energise the fluxuated capacitation hyper drive mode. ie. warp 9.6

I think you've mixed a variety of scifi up there!

What puts me off somewhat is you just know with all the mods it's been ragged to hell and back.

Careful...most of the owners on here have modified their cars, and would strongly disagree that they've been ragged to hell and back!

LOL! Well I can assure you that no offence was intended. But you know what I mean. I know lots of people like to buy standard cars then modify them themselves.

I have no idea what a bobbin is.

Anyway, this is where I am with this car. It ticks all the boxes for what I'm looking for but that exhaust just isn't for me. It's too in your face. I'm not a boy racer.

So here is the question. How easy would it be to replace it with a good twin exhaust? I don't mind a nice deep tone but that popping is just not what I'm looking for. Could I sell the exhaust that's on it and how much would that offset the cost?

Can you recommend good places near Derby that can carry out the work so I can ring for a quote?
