Neo headlight tint

Niss show yesterday there where couple of gtrs rocking chameleon neo headlight tint, they do a clear neo I quite liked it but is it legal ? I thought all headlight tints where a no no except the fly eye .

I think it might be frowned upon after dark, but can't think of any laws that are against it.

Are you sure it was tint and not just very very clean and well protected as that can leave a rainbow effect on the lamps.

I've seen a few cars with it at other shows, but I'm waiting for someone to say its legal before buying some. I'm getting away with the number plate spacing atm so don't want anything else to make my car stand out to the police

If you go on Ebay and search neo tint film it comes up with every colour variation 😆

headlights must display white or yellow light only according to MOT manual

Yeah but does the clear neo Chameleon effect the colour I doubt if you could tell with the lights on . I like it but not enough to risk it if there not legit

That is the red tint neo though there is a clear which is what I can not seem to find any stuff about the one in gizmos pic is the blue neo

The YouTube kid TJ hunt has just brought a 350z for drifting - he fitted some neo tints to his headlights, then found out they turned his headlights red.... He actually purchased red tinted ones on purpose to match his car colour ....

I don't know about that but if you look on yout be there's a video of some illegal red neo tints some guy tried.
