also when you get a bit of spare time here and there browse about the technical forums to get a feel for the sort of problems the cars might face. i find it helps to have an idea of what could go wrong and how easy it is to fix. not that the 350 is prone to failure, she's a very solid car but nothing is perfect. the nice thing about buying now is many of the old teething problems will have been fixed

Just wrote this out below for another new member so copied & pasted it for you. Hope it helps. ;)

 

Just like buying any used car so do the normal checks.

Check for rust around the rear wheel arches & also on the standard exhaust system particularly towards the rear section near were it joins up to the back box. Common problem with the fuel gauge not reading correctly but there is a fix for that should you find a car with that problem.

Also a good idea to have a good read of the service schedule for the 350 so that when you look at cars you know whether or not the servicing has been kept up to date depending on mileage/age of the car.

Thanks all .this is a long shot will be viewing some cars end off month advertised on the likes off piston heads auto trader .if i put which ones i am intrested in .give your experienced coments would you go and view or not
