I think this has been covered before and I have a few favourites but the best has to be.........

Nordschleife at the Nurburgring - 13 miles of pure joy! And one way too (so not much traffic coming the other way unless they're in mid spin!!)

So has it moved to the UK now ;):p

I am sure you have a special road that gives you a buzz this side of the North Sea? ;)

I also enjoy the A82 from Lix Toll all the way through Chrianlarich to Bridge of Orchy, across Rannoch Moor and through Glencoe.

Yeah Glencoe is amazing... reached some good speeds there :teeth:

A686 from Haydon Bridge to Penrith, via Alston. Starts in a great little gorge, then through more generic Pennine roads with the odd hairpin and a couple of villages up to Alston. Road from Alston then heads up onto the moors to the cafe at Hartside Top and down a somewhat thrilling descent towards the M6.

Pretty damned good in the other direction too. :)

Oh, and... Scotland. Full-stop. The A82 from Crianlarich to Glen Coe is a wonderful sweeping road, if memory serves. Actually, take a look here too:

You just can't go wrong with Scotland, though.

Mal.
